I purchased an h4 HID kit 6000k 55w but unfortunately it was the wrong kit. I actually need is a H7 kit.
Iam given to understand that the h4 kit will work with the H7 bulbs.
Where can i get the H7 hid bulbs from.

Search on amazon (both .in and .com), eBay (again both), ald Alibaba and then order. I got my H11s from eBay.com from a firm named banggood.com since I had broken the lugs on one hulb.

Is it possible to retrofit the first generation Hyundai i10 with fog lamps? My guess is yes. I have two related questions:

1. Where should this be done - does HASS take care of this?
2. Are there any known issues due to this after market set up?

I am not too sure, may need extensive chopping. If the bumper has the slots for rogs then you can easily buy aftermarket (I think Hyundai uses Lumax most of the time) and fit them in. Wiring may even be available on the loom so only the two ends will have to be added. If the bumper needs chopping then best of luck!

The bumper already has the slots, so I am guessing only the fitting remains.

Can you also help with my other question - are there any known issues like say battery drain, or anything due to poor wiring that may crop up?

Since many higher versions have fog lamps as standard there are no issues.

Update on the XVs. simply put, they are good. At night, I dont require the high beam even in poorly lit areas. And the day before got back late at night during the fog hours, and it was low beam all the way, and was more than sufficient.

And as one of my mates pushed me to put a number, i'd say these are about 25-30% better than the stock bulbs in the Polo. Definitely an upgrade to go for in my opinion.

I just installed Phillips Rally 100/90 replacing the Bosch 100/90 I was using. Awesome and delightful difference. The Phillips has zero yellowness while giving good whiter light with at least 30% more brightness. Im running on a PMP relay.

I'm using it on my 2006 Santro:)

In an old car please check about the scratches / abrasions on the front glass (actually it is a polymer). I polished my Santro glass with Scratch Out and made a big difference.

Done. I had done that earlier. And yes, it makes a lot of difference. All the tiny road grit and other stuff hitting the headlights constantly while driving makes the polymer dull and kind of opaque over time. So all drivers should note that there is a possibility of doing a buffing job with the right equipment and restoring the lost glory and shininess upto a great extent. Also, it restores the functionality of the headlight which is more important.

I've seen people doing this in the Arab countries too as there is constant (desert) sand playing havoc in those places. The situation is a bit toned down in India but it's a situation alright :)

Few doubts regarding headlight upgrade.

I own a verna sx(o) which is having built in bi-function projector setup headlamps with halogen lights, 60w. I would like to change it to HID. Will it really improves the performance?
Once I went to a near by accessories shop and there the electrician guy, after checking the bulb told that it is 9006/hb4 buld. But in the car brochure it is given that the bulb is 9005.
What is the difference between 9006 and 9005. Is it possible to fix 9006 bulb on a 9005 holder. Will it cause any electrical issues?

What is the best place for install Auxiliary lamp in Ertiga?

Right now I have 2 Hella work lamp (For low beam).
Next week I will buy 2 more NEO 1010 lights (For high beam).

@noblecr - no, they're not interchangeable. They look similar but the dimensions are different by a few millimeters. The holder diameter and filament location thus are not identical.
