Sorry honeybee. In the UK a flash is a 'come opn' signal, i.e. I am ceding way top you. I think UK is also part of the world.

And works very well too, I must add. Strange that it's not part of the official Highway Code. Heard it's now being used for insurance scams where the scamster flashes at you, you pull out and he rams you saying that he had right of way.

Can you share the price for Rear LED & Parking light LED? Also does EVO keep stock of these or do you need to pick them up for somewhere and EVO does the install?

Not sure if i mentioned this earlier, but i got the LED lights done from a local shop & not EVO.

Rear Turn indicators - 250 for a pair
Internal Lamp - 180 for a single piece (You only need 1 piece here)
Parking lights - 350 for a pair. The 250 ones couldn't fit in the stock opening so we had put slightly longer ones.

TIP: Ordering from Ebay is a lot cheaper provided you know which type of LED fits where. For peace of mind, visit your local dealer and get the job done PERIOD.

I can show you the LED lights in person / upload the images here for your reference.

Thank you for your suggestion, had planned for aux hellas earlier but I am afraid that some one will whack it off one day so dropped the plan.

A very valid concern here. I too may plan for Aux lights in future so i share the same fear. As long as you park in your apartments parking & office parking, i dont think it should be a problem. Parking outside can be a challenge.

Can any experienced member share any tips?

When one of the Phillips bulbs got fused, I replaced the set with Hella 100/90 as Phillips was not available nearby only to find that the output is not on par with Phillips. Now I am back to Phillips and extremely happy.

Sri, can you share the model# of philips here?

Thanks Sri. I thought it had some classification in terms of H1 / H2 / H3 etc.

It's true the law doesn't state that flashing your lights gives you right of way, but that's the only way to signal to the oncoming traffic: at least till we learn the right manners. How many of us know we should yield to the vehicle coming from our right at an intersection?

There are anti-theft nuts (called Barri nuts) which will need a special key for un-screwing the nuts. This was these lights can be secured.

People who can D.I.Y. & want to customize the looks of turn or brake lights, should be easy task using proper resistors.
on all L.E.D. i've in car i use 330 ohm 1/2 or 1 watt to make them last longer,
I am planning to do this in coming weeks using these L.E.D.s

Has anyone compared the Hella 130/90 and the Philips Rally 130/100 bulbs?

Not an exact comparison. I found Phillips Rally 100/90 on par or even better than Hella 130/90. So I expect the Phillips Rally 130/100 better than Hella 130/100. The Hella is a bit whiter than Phillips Rally though.

Hi All,

I have a 2011 Hyundai i20 CRDI sportz model. I installed LED projector fog lamps on my car. Unfortunately did not like them so got rid of them. Now I have an empty slot in the fog lamp section as we had to cut that section to install the fog lamps. My installer says that the aftermarket fog lamps would not fit in properly. Guys can you please suggest me an alternative ?

I would ideally want fog lamps with HID or projectors with HID in the fog lamp section.\

Need urgent help. Please reply ASAP.

I agree, I am using Phillips 130/100 on my Zen along with Hella 550 Aux lights. I must say, Phillips has been a far superior experience.

Do we have to change anything else in the blinker circuit for LED conversion or is it just a plugging in job. Heard some where that because the LED offer less resistance so the flashes become too fast or sometimes don't work at all.
