For a relay, I would take it to MA$$ than giving to a road side mechanic. All together with relay, bulbs & wiring it should cost you ~ Rs. 1200/- in MA$$.

1. Yes, it's H4!

2. Yes H8 for fog. Guess even H11 will fit, can't verify though. It's very difficult to get a high power stock bulb (like NBs). Otherwise you wil need to upgrade to HIDs, might cost you 3.5K imported from China or so.

If you do a lots night driving , then yes chances are there .
I am using 90/100 from last 3 years and reflectors are perfectly fine.
I remember I had to change one of the headlamps , as it was damaged due to an accident , then it costed me around 2.6k for one .

Guys, Im thinking of changing the High beam also to 100/90 Philips, as now the pure white from my Low beam (6000k) doesnt match with the OEM yellow (High Beam) one and looks odd when i use the High beam (Low and HIgh light together in Civic as per my observation stupid:).

I know Yellow gives you more visibility but doesn't 100/90 also gives you good visibility if not the same,keeping in mind that my low beam is 6000k.

Pardon me if this is a stupid question as im a Complete noob when it comes to Auto Lighting thing.

Good pics. Looks good. AS for the high beams, you can go for higher rated bulbs since high beams are rarely used. But to replicate the color of the HID will be difficult. It's hard for halogen bulbs to give the same output of the HID's. I had tried this before. Wont be pure white, but just a tinge of white light.

I don't think there will any issues . I have 90/100 on headlamps and 6k hid on the fog lamps both with separate relays, no issues till date .

I went ahead and upgraded the bulbs to XVs. Procured it from AV traders for Rs 900 a pair and installed it myself. I observed a slightly more whitish light, but didnt observe appreciable difference in illumination.

Got another Bluevision ultra (4000K) for my bullet and installed that one too. Illumination is slightly less compared to the stock bulb, but looks good. Here is a pic. The background light is yellow of Sodium vapor.
