Same with me Razor. I haven't received any further updates from Autolamps for the Philips X-treme 80%+ order. Still waiting.

Till the time TSK recovers, can others comment on which H3 bulbs to get for the fogs?!?!

EDIT: Halonix +60 - 100/90

Guys, just curious to know. Recently saw in some cars ( Verna and Skoda) their rear lamps 'sparkle' and then shut off, it happens intermittently on and off within a gap of 10 secs or so and gives out a bright light.

What in world is this new aftermarket accessory? How much does it cost?

I have a swift VDI. Stock bulbs are definitely not adequate in mumbai. After looking the this thread I wanted the Phillips Vision Plus ( 60/55). They don't require a relay. but I did not find them anywhere. Picked up Philips Rally Eye 100/90 from a milan subway shop for 350 ( I think I might have overpaid Rs 50 out of enthusiasm to get them). They were made in Korea ( not for use in US & Europe) Before I sold my Accent GLS 2001 I pulled out the Bosch Relay so hooked this up in the Swift. The light is much brighter than the stock lights and adequate for city and part highway. But in my Accent I had unknowingly hooked 130/100 Flosser lights ( asked the shop for the brightest lights) and they turned the night into the living daylights. But I hear from this thread the 130/100 can burn the casing and the outer plastic casing. If someone can refute that I would love to go back to the flossers.

But for now I can highly recommend the Philips Rally Eye
100/90 costing Rs 300 - 350 at Milan Subway. I bought the Relay and harness for about Rs 400 in a shop in Lamington road but the milan subway guy seems to be charging Rs 600 - 650 I think. Hope this helps

Are there any shops who might be able to show me a demo of white lights, before I actually buy and have them fitted. Dont wanna be caught in the situation when I get a bluish light, or, something that aint powerful enough, after paying a fortune for the relays etc..

Yes there are shops that will show you a demo provided you take it after the package is opened whether you like it or not lol:

Today checked osram (h1) it was written in cover 50% and 20 meter + 55w. Can i go for it, as no philips, halonix and narva is available in tvpm.

swathyd, I think thats the Osram Silverstar range. We used the H4 in a Safari, and that bulb is the best 60/55W I have seen till date.

yes it is silverstar. They quote rs.100 for one bulb. So it means a better throw, it says 20m +. And i hope H1 will also have similar quality. Will be buying it tomorrow.

Hi tsk1979,

Thanks for sharing the information on the Safari. I have a Safari Dicor and based out of Noida itself. Would you be able to point me a place where I can get the Osram bulb for my Safari and how many would I be needing. Its a White light bulb.. Correct.

Thanks for sharing the info.

With Regards,
Sumit.

We got it from Ludhiana. I think you need to contact Osram regional center(Osram.co.in) for details.

Thanks tsk1979.

Just got off the phone with the Osram Sales Rep and it seems they don't have anything in Noida. The closest I have to go ( Hold you breadth) is Kashmiri gate.. Man, for a pair of bulbs. I will have to find an alternative.

Thanks anyway.

With Regards,
-Sumit

If you can make a trip to CP, you may get Philips +80%.
Speedonline has posted the address somewhere in this thread.

the new osram silverstars have ailed to keep up to the quality of light as before please check it before buying.

I am going to buy silverstar tomorrow.
