Is there any possibility for you to source Lightforce from US. It works out cheaper and weighs just 750 gms a piece. I got Lightforce 240 for 239$ and another 50$ for harness. Please check out my installation somewhere in this thread.
You can also think of welding the nuts so that it cannot be yanked off. Remember, the dome easily comes off when trying to focus but only the bulb stays in the base. There is no security for this threat but I dont know if it can be of any help for the thief.

I personally feel 140 and 170 are too small for Scorpio.

I never knew about headlight focussing. Do wheel alignment shops usually do it or company workshops also? Does it need specialised equipments? Can I have it selectively focussed on those people who insist on driving with high beam on in city streets? Hehehe... just joking on preceeding sentence.

Can anyone please suggest me the proper head light bulb upgrade for i20 Magna (the bulbs in use now are the stock ones) along with the necessary modifications (relay wiring etc.) please:

It would be nice if you can also throw more light on the cost involved and the best place to get it done (in Borivali, Mumbai).

P.S: Wanted to fit Fog-lamps for my i20 Magna but was put-off by the fact that we will have to change the front bumper to accommodate the lamps and plus the cost involved (approximately Rs. 7k to 8k). Is there still any possible way to overcome this? Please suggest. please:

guite almost every other car has this feature. Open the hood and you should be able to see a screw holding the assembly to the chassis frame. See pic below for illustration, you cant get much of play though, hardly a few mm.

You can try using higher rated bulbs (90/100w). For this you will need the entire kit which includes ceramic holder, relay, wiring harness and bulbs. I would recommend Philips. There are many models from Philips. Choose the best one that will suit your requirement. This should cost around 1-1.2k for the entire kit.

Changed the bulbs on my Octavia 1.9 to Osram NB+ as the old bulbs were not sufficient for highway runs.

I feel there's an improvement in both low and high beams but it can also be because my old bulbs served me for 62k kms. The low beam is very helpful in the city and i dont feel the need for using the fog lights. Will test the highbeam on a long journey and post my opinion.

I have a Fabia 1.4 16v with the factory fitted projector headlamps. The light from the car at best is only just sufficient. What bulbs should I use to improve the visibility without compromising with the longevity of the headlamp plastics etc? Adding relays shouldn't be a problem as the car is out of warranty already.

You my friend are in a very good position. Since you have OEM Projectors just get yourself a set of 4300K HIDs and you'll be a very happy man. Check with your local Philips distributor. This is your best option.

Thanks for the photo illustration. I have been doing that myself. What I had thought was that "focusing" in this instance meant changing the beam spread (wide / narrow) and shape. This is of a particular interest to me right now because, in low beam, both head light in my car tilts up on LHS and cutoff (light to dark) is not sharp.

As Tassem mentioned, just go for HIDs since you already have projectors. Projectors wont work well with halogens. I had used similar setup when I got projectors. I could see the difference when I installed HIDs. Go for 4300k HID's from Philips although it might be hard to find this since 6000k HIDs are commonly available from Philips. You can try other brands like Osram, P8 or Auto Gauge.

Anytime dude. No, they come together. The kit will have a pair of bulbs, a pair of ballasts, wiring harness and mounting clamps or screws.

If you start from Lalbagh west gate and proceed towards National College, you will find a main intersection just before the flyover. Take a right at the intersection and about 100m on your left hand side, you will find the wheel alignment center.

I am on a strict budget of Rs.1000-1500, please suggest me decent bulbs for swift. I want a decent throw on highway as I have alternate week highway travel of around 600kms.
