Here's a piece of good news. Since my ROOTS wiring kit was installed a while back, I remembered that it came with Bakelite holders.

Saw the new kit yesterday and now they come with ceramic holders.

Just though I'd share this information.

@teknophobia: I can never feel the worth by paying 900 bucks for a pair of 55/60W bulbs with increase in original power (read: lower bulb life).

Trust me, I can hapily spend the same amount on a good wiring kit with relay and reputed 100/90 bulbs. A sense a satisfaction!

Went fog light shopping for Accent.
All of them (OEM's and some OCN brand) come with H27,
27Watt bulbs(I am a sucker for powerful lights)so they didnt impress me.

Is it possible to mod these lamps to install H3 or a H7 55Watt bulb in them?

I second that. Although I use a Philips Rally 130/100 set-up with separate wiring harness with individual relays and also separate pair of after-market fogs,am still on the look-out for a pair of Hella 4000 Compact which is now available in Mumbai only and is priced at Rs 14,500 a pair !

Fog lamp bulb for Maruti Dzire

Hi All,
Noticed that one of the fog bulbs in my Suzuki Dzire has conked off. Checked and noticed that the bulb has become white in color and would have to replace the same. Called Maruti A.S.S and they quoted Rs 600 for the same i.e. for just one fog lamp bulb

Can I get that same bulb from outside? What would be the specifications of that bulb? Any good brand?

Kindly advise.

Thanks
