Well said s0uljah

By the way as I had asked before, anybody has been using or know about the new CELIS Technology from Hella? It is loosely termed as 'Angel Eyes' but these are totally different from the Angel eyes fitted usually on Swift or Civic ( like say in shuvd's Silk Revver has one). The Celis looks more like the BMW lights ( also known as the 'corona rings' ). The new range of compact auxillary lights from Hella like the 4000/3000/Dynavision has this Celis ring and the price goes up by leaps and bounds by addition of these rings only. Is it available anywhere in India?

Are you parked straight? Cos beam seems to be going more to the right than otherwise.

Hi, does anyone know the difference of the Hella 450 and Hella 550? Am looking to get them installed this afternoon since I'm going on a roadtrip. Was hoping to get a clarification before then - thanks!
(Leaving day after morning, wont be able to get much work done since tomorrow's Diwali)

Only difference is the dimension, Hella 500 has more width.

Don't know about Karol Bagh, but I have seen an authorized dealer for Hella in Kashmere Gate, plus also some shops specializing in bull bars for SUVs there.

Carryboy is too expensive (11K)
I spied some local brands with similar designs. Will get those. MY aim is to have a mount point for Fog lamps, so want some light weight small bar

No ways in stock lamps!. With such high bulb position, I will be blinding everyone on road! Even with normal bulbs high beam from safari is painful, with HIDs its going to be really really killing.
This is for strictly off road and no road use at night. Have had lots of scares on lonely mountain roads in the indica, so this is just insurance policy

SO I plan to buy good quality Auxiliary wide spread lights without bulbs in them, and then get a 4000-5000Rs HID fitted in them

Allright, so my mechanic made a trip to Kashmere Gate and bought me my Hellas.
Hella 450s (yellow - since all my other lights are white) for Rs.3750.
Hella 500s are bigger but round - i wanted square. They were for about Rs.4100.
Hella 550s are in white only and are bigger than the 450s.
Just my input.

When my brother had the auxillary lights on the Scorpio roof, we went to a guy who made the bar from scratch. Wasnt that expensive and lasted some time as well - he had to take it off thanks to the cops. Let me know if you need any help on this front. Am heading out of town Wednesday, back after a couple of nights - dont know how urgently you want it done.

Roof lights are illegal. Your auxiliary lights cannot be higher than headlamps.

Umm..well, I dont know about getting them without the bulbs - I can find for you if you want, which ones were you considering? I'm sure you can fit in HIDs, that shouldnt be a problem at all.
Yea, he found out about the illegal bit - but the reasoning he was given was that you cannont have more lights on the vehicle than it came with.
He had it installed when he did a Delhi to Mumbai through central India drive, got challaned a few weeks after coming back.
The guy who made the roof bar also has bull bars, so thats what I meant.
