Look for Autoexpress UK reviews. Osram cool blue 100/90 should do well. As for silverstar there is OSRAM xtra which gives more light but its not cool blue.
As for better light and worst light, seeing is believing, go there late evening, ask him to put the bulbs and compare side by side.

TSK, I guess that is the standard rate in Bangalore. I was also quoted the same price at car shingar and several other places in Bangalore.

Later I sourced normal Philips 100/90W from chennai and am very pleased with it. But Bluevision no doubt could have been great. Its a "would have" but not "must have" feature.

Looking to upgrade to Xenons in the Honda CR-V. Can anyone help with the specifications and good dealer in Delhi. The Honda dealership has no clue. Thanksplease:

driven provides lightning solutions? I thought he was purely an ICE guy!!

Thanks, guys for the information. From what I know, the new Honda CR-V has projector type, 2 bulb, Halogen lamps.

Would the upgrade involve just a straight swap of the Halogen bulbs for Xenons, or include something called "Ballasts" as well.

Also, what are the trusted brands to consider that come with warranty.

Which Xenon kit for a Honda Civic? Ideally with the ability to have two different beams (Not left and right like stereo :) , high and low)

You can get some different brands without bill and warranty for approx 15k and philips with B/W for approx 21k.

You will have to get 2 xenon kits. i think H7 for Low and H1 For High Beam.

I have purchased from Mitenbhai (Ramesh Auto).

Ordered two philips HID kits H1 type for Civic.
One fits very well in the fog lights.
The other one wont go in the headlight.
You sure Civic headlights will take H1 for high and H7 for low??
Isn't there an H4 bulb there?

H4 is used where there is a single bulb for high and low. So no H4 for civic.
Check your owners manual, AFAIK H7 is for high beams, but I don't own a civic so don't have access to owners manual.
You can remove your bulbs and see what they are, its usually written on the bulbs whether they are H7 or H1 etc.,

Hi all,
I bought osram silverstar bulbs 55/60 for Rs.350. The light is much brighter than the OEM. I did a highway stint also and it was ok. I think i will have to adjust headlight settings. my left bulb is about 18 feet but right bulb is showing 16 feet distance. Is there something about the position of the bulb placed inside the assembly. do i have to rotate it and fit it.
Also nobody is vouching for putting cutout for swift. they are telling not to tamper with the electricals of the car.
One more thing is he has a HID for 17K.

You do not need anything like a cutout or relay if you are using 60/55W.
If I could source Silverstar/150 Plus/Xtreme Power plus 60/55W I would never put in the 100/90W ones, but the problem is they are not available easily.

A quick look at the civic manual says.
Low Beam :- 12v - 51W (HB4)
High Beam :- 12v - 60W (HB3)

So I guess the low beam is H4 type.
Right? Do I need to order an H4 type HID kit for the low beam?
