Re: Hydraulic Jack, 12V Compressor, Tool Kit & Tubeless Tyre Puncture Repair Kit @ 23

This CarePSK compressor looks exactly like a re-branded LIMI DI from Pune, with glassy face instead of black and yellow buttons instead of red. They must have some tie-up with LIMI for the DI. This LIMI DI alone is available for 2500/- at Car Cupid, Pashan, Pune.

Compressor is a digital one you can set the desired air pressure (e.g.. 33) and on reaching the limit the compressor automatically shuts off.

The kit lies in the boot of my linea secured by the Velcro strap provided by fiat.

I'm very happy with the kit, its my second after market accessory purchase for the car the other one was a Nilfisk pressure washer.

The cost of the kit was in the range of 3200

I purchased this kit about a week ago. The performance is excellent. It is available from www.rajyogi.in for online purchase. The present cost is Rs.4200/. It is worth spending that much for a worry free journey. The top up from 28.5 psi to 32 psi took hardly a minute for each tyre.

The kit includes enough Tyre sealant for a single tyre of my SX4 ZXI. I am yet to use it.

I think all these compressors including the above refered LIMI are sourced from UK.

Car Compressor and Tire Sealant

I have a 320d F30, and the fact that I dont have a spare is beginning to bother me since the cars now a year old.

The BMW mobility kit is ridiculously priced at 10K. Any other market compressor is at 1 to 1.5 K.

I have no experience in this and most searches on ebay threw up a brand called CODIO . When I browsed through their site, they have no description of the many similar looking models they have.

One that caught my eye is Coido Tire Repair System All in One DC 12v Tire InFlator With Tire Sealant 2411

http://www.ebay.in/itm/Coido-Tire-Re...069a3e2&_uhb=1

Any suggestions, need enough to repair the tire and not be stranded.

Cheers

The sealant in the kit, does it have sufficient quantity for all 4 tyres or just for 1 tyre?

Re: Hydraulic Jack, 12V Compressor, Tool Kit & Tubeless Tyre Puncture Repair Kit @ 23

The sealant in the kit is for one tire of larger size (R16). The amount of sealant required is based on the size of the tire. The kit comes with a sheet mentioning the quantities to be used.

The sealant is available without the compressor also. Around Rs. 1000 per 400ml bottle.

The compressor failed a few days back. I just wrote to Rajyogi and waiting for their response.

The sealant however does the job well. I didn't have a puncture since I used it.

Re: Hydraulic Jack, 12V Compressor, Tool Kit & Tubeless Tyre Puncture Repair Kit @ 2300Rs

Reviving an old thread.

Have been using Michelin Car Air Compressor for the past three months. Here are my observations:

Pros:

a) Well built
b) Long length of the power chord to enable hassle free top-up of air pressure for all tyres in one go
c) Loads of additional attachments viz., baloon inflator, mattress inflator etc
d) Screw-type valve seal
e) Built-in torch light for any exigency
f) Back-lit panel to view the readings even in dark
g)One year warranty provided by the dealer; purchased through Tyre Empire in HSR Layout

Cons:

a) A bit costly
b) The length is not long enough to inflate the tyre lying in boot space
c)Have to pre-set 0.5 PSI more pressure, as during screwing in and out some leakage is bound to happen
