In that case, can't we get ourselves a universal fob made to accommodate a square and oval board. It could be a bit thicker & all we have to do is to remove the tik tik micro switches in the oval board, use a wire and align them straight. Any watchmaker/mobile repair shop can do this job in 5 mins.

unfortunately, I cannot see any images here when accessing team-bhp from office. I will check the image once I reach home in the evening. I will also post my remote's image for your reference
Was just editing. Uploaded a '.bmp' image by mistake though. Dont you also have a 'Xenos' security system? I guess 'Xenos' remotes are pretty similar.

Saw the pics just now!! Can you please post the picture of the other side (where the buttons are)? I have one autocop remote. I have the photos of the same at home. I will post them tonight. The email which i sent to the GiES, mysteriously doesn't appears in my sent items. otherwise, I would have attached them right away.

I have sent an email to them asking weather they can fabricate a model for me. Lets see what is the reply.

A New Idea! - But Can This Be Done??

Hi guys,

After writing to 'GIES' for a module that would match my Xenos oval remote, I got a reply saying that the same was not possible. I even went to the extent of asking them if they can 'custom' make the same but they said that they 'haven't started that service' yet.

Anyway, I happened to go on the Xenos website and was going through their different models of security systems and noticed that there were models of different remote shapes too and that too similar to the casings available in filp keys. So I called up Xenos and asked if I could have my remote changed to a different shape instead of the oval one. He first refused saying it wont match but I persisted saying that all he had to do is match the circuit boards and nothing else. Then he said that the change in remote would cost extra, to which I told him that I was willing to pay for the same. He then said the remotes are not in stock. I found him reluctant in wanting to change the entire remote module and I wonder why. I am sure it can be done with no issues. Here are the pis of the other remotes used on other models on the Xenos security systems.

Hey guys !
I enquired about getting flippin key for my zen and an esteem, but this is what response I got

Dear Mr. Dikshant Negi

I am sorry to say that there’s no flipping key (we say foldingkey) for Suzuki

We produce foldingkey only for Korean cars (Kia, Hyundai)

In our Market there’s small quantity Suzuki cars, so it is difficult to make foldingkey for them.

Anyway thank a lot interesting to our product.

Best Regards

From where did you get the aftermarket one for your Santro? Did it come with an entire circuit or just an empty casing? How much did this cost you?

This is interesting. this is definitely something i would be interested in. dislike the way my keys feel in my pocket right now.
I have a lancer with no key fob, no security system, no nothing, just a key. Going with what i understand from here, all i need to do is to order a couple of blank/empty flippy key casings, get my key replicated into the new keys with the casings and im good to go. And i can decide my security system with this in mind among other obvious factors and accordingly fit my security system board into the fob.

Are these assumptions correct? if so, lets go order us a bulk package of these blank flippy key casings!
