Man the teaser pics were awesome.

But man, IMHO the front is overdone.i think.
The whole car doesn't cop up with the hood. When i first looked at the hood,i thought this could be super-dooper awesome car.But with front bumper pics, its not to my taste.

Hope your car doesn't find its way to the weird and wacky thread.

If possible remove the front grill or atleast paint it black.

PS: THis is only my opinion.

Good to see you commenting but i guess that even you were modding\rebuilding your contessa but never uploaded the pictures here.
Please upload the pics of your ride aswell and yess i wanted to keep the contessa spirit\look rather than making it a lookalike mustang.

Hmm even i am thinking wether to install or not?!?!

PS everyone :- One reason for the delay in pics is that i was supposed to get the stripes stickering done on the sides and i thot i will upload the pics after the sticker job but then couldnt get it done today maybe tomorrow.

When people think muscle they think mustangs and chargers but i dont want be a wannabe be a mustang lookalike owner. As the saying goes "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

I like the car and will agree with the owner that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I would like to suggest that please add the original chrome bumpers as the car is looking incomplete without them.

Hmm.. the effort is commendable but the finished product falls short. In my eyes it looks like a mix of Muscle and Rice. The hood looks Muscle but the spoiler looks Rice and fake vents on the rear doors look Italian. Front end is a vast expanse of red with lotsa bling, should try to minimise both. Just my opinions.

Sparsh good job there pal, however a few minuses on the car. Those fake vents, air scoop and last but not the least the front grill makes the car look bling !! I am sure you can do better and I suggest that you take a cue from that Camaro image posted.

Once again to each his own, since you have already spent so much I am sure it wouldn't pinch you more if you were to get a better front grill made.

The red looks real classy and heck you need those racing stripes. Please don't go wrong with the alloys, try and retain the steel rims if possible and get some butch looking tires. That should complete the looks part of it.

Sparsh, everyone has given their opinion on the car. Before I give my view I would like to appreciate you on the kind of effort and time that you have spent on this vehicle.

The following is my view of the vehicle:
  • You have the best set of bonnet. The metal work is really awesome
  • The front grill needs some modification. It's not going with the flow of the front design. Please look at the images that you posted of your vehicle when it was in the workshop. Can you see the difference of the vehicle after the grill is fitted.
  • The rear door metal work is really good.
  • The wheel rims really fits well in to your vehicle design
  • I believe the tail lamps can be relooked at
  • The spoiler is really good but i feel its a over kill for your vehicle and may be you need to go in for something simple.
All these being said I understand that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I like the mods but at the same time there is a lot of scope of improvements.

Overall you have done a great job. Would you mind posing some pics of the interior and the overall cost involved in this project.

Something tells me that, the car is not complete. once those racing stripes are put the car might look better. Sparsh I think you need to put some GT 500 type decals on the sides, the car looks kinda naked there. It surly needs a bumper and needs bling wheels to compensate the grill. the Spoiler has to go. the colour combo is good but it gives a over all bling look, but i feel the look is far from complete. This is a great attempt but i think you now need to tastfully look at all options. i request gurus like BBS to do some PS jobs of options. Sparsh i hope you would take this constructivly, just my 2 cents.

Pramod
