I just fitted WRX Springs, Shocks and Anti roll bars to my Forester.

It lowers the car by about 2 inches and obviously it makes the setup a little stiffer and you lose the self adjusting rear ride height.

Not yet gone for a proper drive, so will update when done.

I have got new 17 inch wheels and tires but yet to fix them.

EDIT: Will upload some pics soon.

PICS PICS!! this is one very very interesting build!!

What about the weight difference?

Interesting modifications.
@Mura, is turbocharging or engine swap on cards as well? :) What about drum brakes in the rear? I am curious if that can be changed to disks.

I infact have a EJ25 Turbo with a Auto box with me but too busy with other cars to swap.

I also have 4 Pot Brembo front and 2 Pot Rear brakes.

Some Pics:

Car is such a great shape! Looks almost new. Can you post some interior pictures as well?

@iceman91, Both the WRX and the Forester are about the same weight.

@Guna, You can change the rear Drums to discs, but at the stock power levels they are more than enough.

And yes it looks new , it has just covered 19k.

Hey a very neatly maintained Forester!!Congrats, a great ride!!

Btw how is the ride quality after the change and the handling?has the GC decreased?

Just went for a short drive, corners very flat and feels much more stable. i like it.

It is a little stiff but i can manage.

@carfreak , yes GC is lower by 2 inches.

Which means it is down to just 150 mm now! There goes one of the advantage of having the Forester?

A super underrated car that hardly sold. However its a hoot to drive and being a Subie, incredibly well built and reliable. Enjoy your ride!

Your car needs better tyres than those crappy bridgestone H/Ts.

Will fit them this week.
