No man, thats exactly y i said no point posting pics coz. No real way to tell the diff other than looking at the edges of the class those few centimeters short that the film is cut. If fitted well u might not be able to see that gap...its pretty neat thats y i strongly recommend it coz it doesnt affect u r vision at all.

I had driven in night with front wind shield Sunfilm (GarWare for 1900/-) and I did not noticed much difference.

i suspect many of you guys have better eyesight than I. i would however like to know the following:

1. how long can you safely use sunfilm before it gets hazy, scracthed and/or distorted?
2. how many of you regularly drive in city traffic at night with sunfilm? this includes V kool.
3. how many of you use corrective lenses for driving?

i have trouble spotting rickshaws and other unlit vehicles without sun film and can only wonder how many accident s i would get into if I had sun film.

Depends on the quality of the film. The good ones generally come with a warranty for 3 years at least. The rest of them - the color film will fade and distortions will appear after a year or two.

I do, but the film (V kool and 3M on the 3 cars) is transparent and is in no way different from a windscreen without one.

Dont see why you should have MORE trouble with clear film - its not going to address your current issues, though!

The Llumar film comes with 5 year warranty against such problems and also installation.

I don't think your problem will worsen or improve with sunfilm.

ok iceman,

but here in mumbai its a little strict a friend of mine ahd dark black tints on his NHC.was pulled over by the cops and asked to get out of the car. i was in another car just behind him. my friend and i got out of our car and went up to the cop and asked what the problem was.the cop was very rude by that time he had snatched the keys away and we were told to accompany him to the police station.we did so and then made us wait there for an hour and then 4 mechanics striped the tints of the car very shabily and then the keys were given back to us and were told to leave after paying a fine of rs 1000.i was shocked and my friend jus didnt know what to do.so thats why i wanted to know if it were legal or not

now hes got regular RTO approved light black tints.

Well Vkool is the costliest of them all.

Srasnia.. besides Vkool , Lumar , 3m there is also Ray barrier which is said to cut out 95% heat and is pretty cheap comapred to Vkool..

Hey guys.. I've finally decided to go in for V-Kool..
Will be fitting in 5 sides + front windscreen film.
Hopefully, they'll be better than Lumar/3M/others based on the feedback of t-bhp members.
Thanks a lot.

hi everyone,

i wanted to get the film done on my new Tucson arriving tomorrow!
my friend, he has a car accessories shop, said that the GARWARE - ICE COOL model film is very very good, and its the best as of today in keeping the car cool. and said that the Garware windscreen film is also great, while it cost saround 1800, + installation Rs.500, which the co. person comes and does.

Secondly, he confirmed with the 3M distributor, that there aint any 3M films that can be put to the front windshield! now how is that possible when its available in other states.?
me from hyderabad.

and does anyone know where i can get LLUMAR Films in Hyderabad?

thanx all.
