As requested, I did find out the brand for you. Its a imported brand called sunex, atleast that's what he said.

I also enquired about the front windscreen film from Llumar(Autokool) which is costing around 4K.

Hey ! Thanks for your reply... I will check again with the dealer regarding who will install / warranties etc. If possible do give the details of which series/profile you opted for in Llumar.

I comes with a 5 year warranty. I unfortunately don't know what the series/model is, i will have to check my bill. I got it fitted from an authorised dealer and not from Maruti. I presume that even if Maruti gets it done for you, they will be getting a guy from an authorised dealer only as im sure Maruti will not want to take any warranty issues on their head.

I remember that the authorised dealer quoted me 6K for the front windsheild only and the total came to 10k with a discount so i guess the price are fine.

hey guys
Do the sunfilm providers give any assurance that their sun films satisfy the norms?
how to ensure that the sun film that i put on my car will be legal?
my car dealer is saying he ll be giving garware for free..
So is it worth spending more on other brands or this will do?

How about using glare reducing polarized eye-wear? I think a polarized film would be pretty expensive..

Garware starts from Rs.800-1000 for their lowest brands and the slightly expensive IceKool starts from Rs.1300-1500.

I can't digest your report that you've got Garware front windscreen film for Rs.600 !!!

I'm sure that it's a fake.
