Im running Shell Helix , Iridium’s ( came with the head probably the previous owner was like minded!). I have also installed a Green Cotton Storm (more on that later). Engine is much smoother than the SOHC. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for sharing the info! Do you still have this engine or head? I’m looking to convert my sohc to a dohc. Any leads would be of great help.
