In both the cases the specs remain the same.

How much did you pay for this?
I saw this quote, bought it from the 100% feedback guy, got it delivered last saturday. Used it from Monday onwards and today, there's no light but the body is getting a bit heated - not sure if it's working or not!

A blue LED should glow. The device as such is easily dismantable.

Another way to test it's functionality is by putting some incense sticks inside the car and then turn this on and see the smoke settling down.

Why not write to the seller? It is said that the LED would glow.

Not as weird, but something similar, I started using a soap (bought from Lush) in my Punto since past two weeks. It has kept me happy. The car smells fresh and the odour doesn't get too strong at any time. I just need to find a container now (something that looks neat) to keep it.

Microwave the soap or wrap it int plastic packets and put into hot water - it will become soft. You can then mould it into any container of your choice.

There is nothing like the best, it should be based on your preferences. Some prefer strong smells, and the others like them mild. Some prefer artificial flavors while others may prefer natural ones. You should arrive at a conclusion after some trial and errors.

Re: How does your car smell

The Ambi Pur mini vent clip exhausted after nearly 2 months of usage. That was really quick considering the tab on that thing was set to a minimum and the AC vent on the passenger side wasn't opened completely. The fragrance was okay but this one felt to be a rip-off at Rs. 200!

I am making a switch to My Shaldan for a change and bought the Squash gel variant from eBay. Let us see how that fares and lasts. I am guessing another 2 months before the gel vaporises itself. Shall post a feedback once I receive it.

Without anything inside, the car now has that stock factory odour.

So here are is my feedback.

The Aeron Dream smells like green apples. It has a sort of fruity fragrance which is mild but noticeable inside the car.

I prefer the Aeron Wish any day over this one as the Wish smells like Cool Blue Aftershave with a fresh zing. So Aeron Wish it is next time.

Update:

Got the air freshener today. It looks authentic from the packaging and the gel content inside the tin can. The Squash gel odour smells pretty good, more like fresh lime but a fruity variant of it.

Some snaps:

One of those rare things that is Made in Japan, is affordable, readily available and not something that is related to electronics!

Re: How does your car smell

Sorry to revive an old thread, but just came across this one. I used to try all sorts of air fresheners - Ambi Pure and a lot of other imported one's I picked up in supermarkets. But then I came across Godrej aer click - Musk (After Smoke).

Surprisingly it smells really great and fresh, even though I don't smoke in my car . A lot of friends too were impressed and bought it for their car. Worth a try.

Re: How does your car smell

I bought a combo offer from tradus.com
Combo Of Areon Gel Wish and Areon Ken Lemon Air Freshener
I bought it on December 19th and to my surpise the Areon Gel Wish is still half left. It has really lasted a pretty long time.
The fragrance is quite strong and to my liking. My friends smoke in the car sometimes and this fragrance makes sure that the car does not smell.
Maybe anyone want to try it out. I will surely be ordering other fragrances from areon once my current batch runs out.

Re: How does your car smell

I recently came across a Gel air fresher from Odonil - yes the same brand that makes 'air freshers' for bathrooms. The Gel variety is very similar to the more expensive Gel car freshers available in the market. I tried the Citrus fragrance and loved it. The best part about it is that the lid is designed in such a way that you can screw/ unscrew it to reduce/ increase the opening and thus limit the fragrance. Works like a charm in the car...
