So much for the lancers are slow and sluggish talks... hehe. Hope to see you in Bangalore this month

Busa, please stop bringing up old threads with comments like "Still no pics" and "still no audio".

If the member wishes to post them, they will. You nagging them does not serve any purpose except add to the bandwidth costs at the end of the month.

Wow from behind , it looks so like an ordinary lancer ..I mean neat clean docile .....no wings ...just a small skirt and massive twin exhaust, Nowadays many go in for twin silencing exhaust for show , but boy 6.8 secs to 100 ,your car does go

Hey, have you timed it on track? Lap times would be interesting.

@ Busa - Sorry buddy, I know I have been promising, but have been to lazy. Will do the needful as soon as shes back from the workshop. I apologise for the delay.

@ Ford Rocam - Yes will do, she's in the garage right now getting some TLC. Just got A new suspension set up done. Putting in a Pedders suspension from Australia. Sports shocks but comfort ride springs. Seen your beast, I must say that you have done a great job. I am looking out for a rallyart ECU and cams for the next upgrade. Lets see how that goes.

@ Shan - My tyres cost me a bomb. If anyones willing to sponsor a set, we can defineately set some times.

@whatcanthisbe - Yes sir, new instrument cluster comes as part of the package. Have a look at the pictures in this thread and you will see that the new tach reads to 10,000 ans is redlined at 8300.

Yo Sideways! Just saw this thread for the first time.
Cant believe i have missed it all this while
Bloody Hell is all i can say.
All you told me was that your lancer rides on 17's, But ya never told me that
what madness your 17's run.

Now I'm really feelin bad ( for myslef )that i rode in your Ikon!!!

Love the work in it man, Especially the quality of the Install, That is just superb, It is so clean, super pro done, no hanging stuff anywhere.

Question- Which air intake have you pur, from what i could see in the pics ,
it seems to draw air from the front section of the filter as well.

Cheers

@ whatcanthisbe - Calibration not required cause i found out size of tyre running on this model abroad and accrdingly upsized. Costing I have already mentioned somewhere earlier on this thread.

@ Revvhead - Next time you are here come a day in advance so that we can go for a spin on some road which is less hazardous to my rims. The filter is by K&N which I picked up from Australia. Very good design especilly if you want to run cold air setup. But with our kind of dust and mud nd unpredicatable rains, I havent had the ba**$ to try it. Dont want to end up ruining something I have spent so much time and money on.

will do that saar!!!
Hopefully will be able to make one trip in winter, lets see
Work is delayed , so i have wait till Mid aug now!

cant blame you for that at all, wasnt the best road ever

Yeah, i hadnt tried a cold air intake either coz i was worried about water uptake myself, I can see how that front section would be really useful for cold air setup. That seiad its abt time that i went a wiped some of the great Bombay dust off my K&N from the outside at least!

Again from Australia. They run a similar model there so it's easy to pick up stuff like that.
