thanks guys....

@dipen well acceleration figures - the odo reads to a max of 160kmph, given that i take the gurgaon expressway to work everyday.. the odo stops at 160 but the car still keeps going, so god alone know what is actually does..

in terms of in gear accelration it very happyly keeps up with a petrol mondeo, which we have actually done with a friends mondeo.

0-100kmph is quick but still need to play around with the jets to get that going the way i want to... leans out at high rpm if you go all the way on the accelerator. so there is still room to improve.

gives me 9.8 - 10kmpl. which is ok for the fun it is.....

will post my other rides in due time...

cheers

Change your odometer ASAP, lest you break the needle !!! . Are you serious it does in excess of 160 kmph ???? Have you ever felt it trying to fly off ? I have done those speeds in my A4, but a Zen at that speed , do you have upgraded brakes/suspension ?

Hats off, for the wonderful build.

Cheers

Awesome build. This is gonna be my next project. Nice wheels you got there man. Compomotives are really good when it comes to light weight wheels but very expensive.

Given the weight of the Zen, you definately should be getting a spoiler for the Zen and for the power its producing and to keep it all on the tarmac. I once saw a Purple Zen with a black GT spoiler and looked cool, though i have never liked GT spoilers.
Ofcourse you loose the sleeper look.

hey that's a great setup, forged rods and forged piston's are heard of for the 8-valver but a forged crank seems interesting,if you dont mind could you tell me where did you source it from? none the less great build, the rims are to die for, cheers, happy revving..!!

How do you say that? Have you been a victim of a panga with it?

I thought carb zens and esteems came with a 8v head!

We need some timings 0-100 or 0-140 to have a measure of its performance. Wonderful build.

Howz your braking? Have you any stay bars in place?

Pardon my ignorance, what are stay bars and how do they improve braking?

@govi the wheel are compomotive wheels - Compomotive - Motorsport Wheels

the cars running 155/70/13 yoko A- drives but need to upgrade to 165/60 .

@ricky sorry forgot to mention the car IS running bigger brakes/booster and upgraded suspension. the front anti roll bar is running teflon bushes and is running an under body brace to keep things tight, also running a higher cfm radiator fan to keep things cool.

yea at times with sprited driving the car does want to take off the road but getting into an oversteer fixes that .

running a full stainless steel exhaust system with a sweet sounding end car which comes out thru the rear bumper... anybody got a flame thrower up for grabs??

@dragger - the crank is from a gti .

i guess it was done up by Autopsyche. (going by the ART logo on the zen & you can see the ART's "lancer overkill" in the background too)

Sorry, they are two separate questions.

1. How is your braking - any mods there?

2. Do you have stay bars - Howz your body roll / cornering?
