Actually the car came without the AC condensor and I was driving it without any overheating problems . Then in the summer ( which is kind of never ending in Chennai ) I fixed the AC condensor . From the time I did that I see the engine running a bit hot even without the AC on !

other that this there are no other major issues I have felt .

Jeeven Did you ever think of the bright red?? Something like swift's colr??
It was a stock color on estate and I thought it looked cool.. It may match with your black paint scheme..

And then black leather with red inserts..

What say??

See if the electrician can wire the condensor cooling fan with a switch next to steering wheel, which you can use to kick the fan ON manually when-ever the engine seems to be getting overly hot without even AC being ON. This helps in slowmoving traffic, where engine overheats even without the AC running. The fan is close to radiator and helps with more air movement around. Parhaps if the radiator has lost it's efficiency, solution is to fix it before doing anything else.

I suggest you to get everything running satisfactorily under the bonnet, before looking at body work and painting. Only my view though...

if you are not into offroading and stuff , lower the car down by 1 or 2 inches.

Jeevan, there are very few Estates existing. Hence would suggest you to keep the car in its original shape. Let it be white, give it some good tyres and get some good leather interiors.

I feel that was the only best designs i've seen from DC, rest all are ....

Jeevan,

What ever you do, keep it simple, dont get the car have a personality disorder.

Please retain its original essence.

before I fixed the condensor everything was fine ! Maybe the radiator fluid
needs a change or the radiator is blocked and needs servicing . I changed the engine bed a month back which was worn down and hope I make very careful progress with the plan of modding this car . The car should retain it's original personality after the makeover . Red is a beautiful colour but , I think it would more suite an open top .

everybody seems to be quite adept in their understanding of a
turbocharger but not a electric supercharger . See this link .Nissan Altima Switches Photo
Most of the electric superchargers available on ebay are a rip off .
I suppose that this system will provide boost even at lower rpm ??
and at will with a touch of a button . I know of some dental drill
motors that work of 24 VDC and hit a whopping 100000 rpm with heavy torque .
maybe connect one of those to a turbo and presto ! just a wishful thought .

A crazy thought did cross my mind once. I found a Tata TL Double Cab 4x4 for sale and I have friend who is considering selling his Single Owner Tata Estate in excellent condition. I thought of buying both and transferring the Tata Estate body onto the Tata TL Double Cab 4x4 Frame to end up with a Tata Estate 4x4 !!..

But then I decided to invest in an upgrade my MM540.

badboyscad surely does the best PS job and Jeevan as deigNation pointed it out, go for the mods except for the logo. I will not be too much surprised to see the ride in the weird mods section here on the forum if you add the merc logo

i asked the mech about the safari suspension but , he
says the ride handling would be completely lost if I did that . Sticking
on to almost the same height ( maybe an increase of an inch or so but , not more ) I won't be adding any logo in the front for a change and definitely not a merc logo because this car is not one . A darker blue would be more appropriate I guess or a plain white .

Estate's design was lifted from a Merc.

It'd look better w/o logo. glasses will look good w/o rubber inserts and high gloss black top.

u can try the body kit from palio adeventure.
