Two Words..AWESOME Work !
thanks again.
Now i know you are from TN but would you or anyone watching this thread know where i can get this done n Bangalore.. I'm looking for a Neat Job which not require any re-pasting or anything for years and not damage the paint with the adhesive when i remove the decals.
Any guidance or help is always appreciated.
And also HOW DOES LIL LOOK ON THE RIDE ??

Hey BadBoyScad,
I checked a few places in Bangalore and could find proper decals in the radium silver that i was looking for, so hears the change in plan and the options available:
Option-1: (Comparatively Less Expensive) Keeping the current black bumper (Which is got painted a couple of months ago as you'll remember form this thread), Put black stripes and get the tail lamps smoked lightly as the ones on Blueraven316's Zen.
Option-2: (Involves more investment) Change the Bumpers to body colored ones, put clear glass lamps like the Nikhil (aka need_for_speed) is selling in classifieds and put the radium silver decals. I have mentioned more expensive cos the Bumper, Decals and New Lamps will burn a bigger hole in pockets than the Decals and Smoking of the lamps from Option-1.
Now you know how much i appreciate your work already clap: and hence I dare to bother you again. It will be greatly appreciated once again if you can gimme a glimse of the 2 options preferably a rear view of the car this time to find out the distinction in the tail lamps.
I thanks you in advance and i hope this doesn't ask too much from you weekend stupid:
Till i Hear from you again, Take care..

No problem at all, brother. Here you go
option 1:
option 2:

Do any of you guys have HIDs in your zen?
Zenster,
If you want stripes, please paint them (and that too, in silver). I know it's an expensive proposition but worth the investment. Stickers look loud, cheap and ricer-ish. I recommend painting ghost stripes which have a slightly faded.
I'm bored with looks of my 2003 Zen LX's steering wheel and want to change the steering wheel with Swift's (without air bag). Is this possible?

It is possible. Only thing the indicator cut off will not work, if you want that working you have drill two small holes at the back of the steering for the indicator cut off to be seated.

Is this in a projector set up? (does not look so to me, but want to confirm) If not, are they fine (in terms of dispersal of light)? I am not able to make up my mind as to what to go for- HID+projectors or get after market auxillary driving lights.

These aint prjectors. they are perfectly fine in dispersal of light. But it seems now the rates have fallen. somewhere like 5000 or 6000. Go for the HID alone. If u want some looks then go for the projectors. But if its an old zen you do not get projectors.
Hi friends,
This is my 2003 Zen Lx, my first car, purchased from Maruti True Value in last August. So far I’ve driven little more than 8000 kms, this includes a dozen of Mumbai to Pune trip, couple of tour to Amby Vally, Lonavala from Mumbai and a visit to Alibug. The car is in fantastic condition and always returns me 15-16 kmpl with AC, and recently I got the best of 19 kmpl. I’ve fitted an AutoGauge 2” RPM meter form Opera House, it has seven colour LED back light. The pod is fixed on the right hand side scoop, as I don’t want any punch in the dashboard materials. In the New Year I’ve painted the sidewalls of Goodyear tubeless tyres with white colour. Many small modifications are in the pipeline like – K&N air filter, ART leather seat covers, alloy wheels, side graphics etc. Keep you posted about the other modifications.
Congratulations! The car looks neat.
Found this modified Zen at the racetrack a few years ago, it looks very neat. I dont know what mods have gone in, so if any one knows please shed some light.
@mods: sorry if i have posted this elsewhere.
By the looks of it suspension work and muaah FI. Lets not hope a GTI in it!
