Performance Mods for Sierra

Hi all,
What type of K&N filter will suit the Sierra(94 model),will the performance increase by any chance,where are they available in bangalore and also where can performance mods be done in Bangalore,Guru's please help.

A K&N filter does not increase performance noticeably; whatever the gains are, they are very negligible. If your Sierra is a '94, then it is the normally-aspirated engine? Correct? The best performance mod for you would be to swap a used Turbo engine in it. That alone will give you an additional 22 horses (68 BHP-> 90 BHP).

I also suggest that you go through our article on modifying diesel engines (from the Advice section).

So can i find new engines any where in bangalore or from other place and ship it to bangalore,can u please tell me what will it cost.

Yes,Budget is 1Lac for engine overhaul,Paint job and a new set of Rubbers(includes alloy).
So Nitrous can all this be achieved in this budget.

Tyres and alloys for a Sierra should cost some 40k atleast.
Paint job should cost in excess of 25k atleast.
35k for the engine job might be possible.
You have a pretty conservative budget, buddy.
Id like to know the current condition of the engine.

Currently the engine is non-turbo,gives a mileage of 12kmpl(Without A/C,Highway),only problem is becomes somewhat sluggish when the A/C is switched ON,So will Rehauling the engine solve the problem.
