Car is running really great, exhaust sound is very smooth and easy on the ears.Engine appears to be running very very well even when the tacho hits red.The madman has setup the car and the tuning really well.

From what I could see and feel,it was boosting up at 4000 rpm and holding boost till 7000 rpm where vikram shifted.

I don't know what peak boost was .. Vikram?

ABS rules

The boost spikes to about 10 - 12 psi on hard launches but then settles down at 8 psi.

The turbo has a built in wastegate set to 6psi. We have used a home made boost controller to up the boost to 8psi. The car runs on 91 octane petrol.

Major/Minor upgrade - You decide.

Ok folks the car is back with a bigger, better & meaner heart. It now sports a completely forged G15A block (thanks to Iceman91) with oversized pistons coupled, to a ported & polished swift head. Cubic capacity calculated to be 1555cc. Turbo remains same and so does everything else. It's being run in as we speak.

Initial Impressions:
Low end torque has gone up by a reasonable amount, unlike the stock swift which doesn't move till 2000rpm. Now it starts pulling away from 1300 - 1500 rpm.
Stock ECU is handling the new conversion pretty well which is extremely surprising. It now handles up to 5 pounds of boost ands goes up to the rev-limiter where as earlier it would give up at 2 pounds and around 4000rpm. Yet to be figured out if this is a good thing or bad. But it is now perfect for city driving. I am driving on stock ECU as the RD ECU needs to be re-tuned which will happen this sunday.

More update with pics will follow shortly. Last but not the least thanks to Vasu & Keshav for the build.

Congrats for the Major (for me) upgrade. I really want to see this Swift. But being so far I can just imagine how it must be driving. I am sure after the remapped RD ECM, it would really be fun to drive. I think it is quite difficult to find G15A block.
