Air filter for my new honda city vtec

I want to change the air filter for my new honda city vtec. Should i go in for a normal one. Or a k and n filter. What is the life of these filters separately. Will my warranty be void if i get a k and n. If yes how can i prevent warranty void and still install a k and n. Also what will be cost me both the filters and their warranties. Will you guys advice me k and n or normal. Also will there be any change in mileage.

YES, your ride's warranty will be void if you go for a K&N conical or K&N CAI, on the other hand if you go for a K&N Stock replacement filter, you can easily replace it with the OE one (to avoid warranty void) just before you take you ride for a service.

the warranty shouldnt be void is you get a stock replacement. but if you get a conical then it can be void. just depends on how well you know the dealership.
