Body-kit for Aveo?

Has anyone bought a Aveo body-kit from GM India or any other source?

I understand that GM's Bangalore dealer offers a 'genuine' one for Rs. 29,000 consisting of front lip, side skirts and rear dam. This is inclusive of professional spray-painting to match required body colour and fitting.

Will be visiting them to look at the actual parts but has anyone already fitted one? If so, please post some pictures.

I have found some snaps on the net which I will try and upload ASAP.

Thanks,

Not 100% sure it's a 'GM' kit but Sundaram probably won't stock it if it wasn't. Wanted to inspect it but it seems to be a large sealed box which they were loathe to open and I was in a hurry so could not wait.

However, will certainly drop in and check it out sometime soon.

29K is quite reasonable for original body-kit I think. Compared to the obscene rates for say the Mugen kits for the Civic!

Any further news on this body kit?

Guys,

Sorry for bumping up an old thread but has anyone seen / fitted the OEM GM body kit for the Aveo?

GM has now reduced the price from 29k to 19k.

Guys,

Sorry for bumping (again!) up an old thread but has anyone seen / fitted the OEM GM body kit for the Aveo?

I am keen to fit one but need to see a sample picture first. The Bangalore GM dealer says that he has to specially order one from GM and he has no pictures either.

Did you had a chance to check the kitup of coimbatore? He does a neat job and a visit to this page may help KitUp! Automotive
You can mail him to know more details.
Good luck.

I HAD visited their website multiple times but decided that I didn't like their version. The rear is too 'heavy' and overall too much bling for me.

Also, I am looking for something that will survive BLR's speedbreakers. That Kitup front spolier will last exactly 1 day :-)!

In that case, dont go in for any skirting. Instead a "sport bumper" is better, if you can source such a thing.
