Got Boot App: Boosts performance or just Baloney?

There is this website called boostgot.com that claims to enhance the throttle feedback using bluetooth (don't ask me how they will connect to a car like mine). They have an Insta handle too (Check out one of the posts there https://www.instagram.com/gotboostap...JiM2JuNW1wdXVx) .

Prima facie, this looks shady to me. But, I had still thought I would post it here for the better informed among you all and hopefully have a meaningful discussion in case this can be done at all.

Re: Got Boot App: Boosts performance or just Baloney?

This product is essentially a throttle enhancer with added Bluetooth functionality. The topic has been discussed in detail here, so I don't want to add anything extra. In my opinion, the product essentially does nothing except modulate throttle input.

Here is a thread where a member has discussed their experience with a similar, if not the same, product:

Got Boost Device - Feedback requested

I have been seeing some ads for https://www.boostgot.com/ device.

Wanted to check if anyone has any experience with this or similar devices??

I have the following questions
  1. Does this work?
  2. Any adverse impact on engine?
  3. Any other risks?
  4. What price did you get it for? Is it worth it?
