C5 rear seats are very uncomfortable and the seatbelt buckle will stab into you no matter how you sit. The suspension "glide like on a cloud" ride is also over-exaggerated and you can definitely feel bumps, potholes etc. It was very good at going over speedbreakers and taking high speed turns though.

Re: Softer suspension for stiff-riding German cars

Just saw 1 post recommending a Kia Carnival and I second that. To me, it seems like a logical step up from an Innova. Overall it does have the same characteristics of a Crysta albeit slightly better at everything IMO.

Re: Softer suspension for stiff-riding German cars

I understand that an Innova Hycross may best suit the need but I do have an unconventional recommendation. How about trying the Hyundai Tucson (Diesel) ?

It has the European "Luxury" combined with a really good suspension set-up and a diesel engine that probably feels no lesser than "state-of-the-art". Since, this car will be a replacement to your Skoda Superb, a 5 seater replacing a 5 seater makes sense! Also, ingress and Egress will make elders happy
