Yes the steel braided pressure hose is expensive. But the best part with these local assemblers is we can customise it by selecting the type of nozzles, length of hose we need and can return the standard attachments like the plastic foam canon which comes with package for which the prices are reduced in the final bill. I once dropped the pressure washer and damaged the pressure gauge and it’s seal, they replaced it for free of cost out of goodwill within 15 mins. Im sure it would have costed a lot and took atleast a week to get it repaired if it was a Bosch or Kracher.

Re: Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review

I guess everyone faces the same dilemma before buying a pressure washer. I can say that I have had my share of experience in this section. Let me take you a Lil back to 2014 when I was facing the issue of cleaning and maintaing my Bajaj Avenger. To encounter the first problem, i bought a skil cheapest washer for Rs 4500 from a Bosch retail outlet. At that time Bosch was selling and servicing skil pressure tools. So, going by the brand image of Bosch, i bought it. The aquatek series was available from 8000 onwards. I went for Skil. The product went good for 2 years and was utilised extensively by me and my friends. It made lot of noise but it was effective. From creta to i20 and bikes, it had seen all. Right in 2017, i first noticed a leak and drop in pressure. Post that, i tried to get it repaired from Bosch but even after many tries, it could not get working. I reached out to skil twitter handle also but it did not work. They simply sympathised with me and wished me luck. Then, in time, i moved on considering it a bad investment and gave it to a recycling agent if it can resell the parts. I also switched to i10 first and then to taigun in 2022. For washing needs, got dependent on garden hose washer and many other items available on Amazon who claim to get the work done but anyone who has used a pressure washer knows well that everything else is a waste.

Now in 2023, last month, after much research i had made up on mine on Bosch series, the one which comes with wheel and costs around 12k. Right before I was ordering, I thought of consulting a friend who has a agaro washer and man, it was the right decision. The thing works and is a lot cheaper than Bosch and other brands. It costed only 4500 something and works perfectly. The pressure is less than skil but looks more durable. The hose is around 8 metres and I use it by hanging from first floor. Not necessary to assemble the whole setup at ground level. Bosch has a tough competition now with many cheaper options. I feel that anyone who has just washing requirements, can go for this brand. I believe that generic spare parts can be used in repairing this also.

Re: Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review

Used the Waxpol ecosaver shampoo on my generator yesterday. Was Quite DISAPPOINTED by the level of snow foam. I would rate it even lower than 3M car shampoo for the suds level and the quality of wash. Gave them just a 3 star rating on Amazon, just because of the cost being low.

The Shakti on the other hand worked just excellently. Here it is with all inlet, outlet and power attached -

A look at the spray gun with extension used this time. Spread pattern spray -

Pierce pattern spray -

Closer look at the two extremes of spray pattern you can use. I use this spread pattern mostly to avoid any paint damage -

Because this pointed spray can really cause some damage and even injury -

At work -

Highly satisfied with this spread pattern to clean off dust and grime for areas inaccessible by hand like these -

Years of accumulated dust was washed away from the air inlet which was not possible under normal hand cleaning -

The washer fulfilled it's purpose -

But the Waxpol shampoo disappointed as I mentioned -

Quality of foam was quite disappointing though the quality of final wash was satisfactory -

Final wash was very satisfying as my 9 year old generator is kept in the open under our Gulmohar tree had accumulated years of sap and droppings which had all but disappeared -

Full marks to the pressure washer BUT Will lookout for a better quality Snow foam shampoo. Would suggest to avoid Waxpol ecosaver shampoo.

Cheers...

Re: Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review

^ what dilution ratio are you using? I use a brand called WaveX , its difficult to mix in water but I use 1:5 and the results are satisfactory. Certainly not YouTube material but cleans well.

Can you try 1:4 with this Waxpol next time?

The foam thickness also depends on the nozzle size. A smaller Dia nozzle will give thicker foam. Please get that checked. Else irrespective of the cost of the foam spray bottle or the shampoo or the concentration of the mixture, the thickness of the foam will be less.

Please refer the above video on this.

I had already researched the orifice size before ordering and it was 1.1mm, which is comparable to the best. And I am not saying that this Waxpol shampoo will not do the job. It will work perfectly but it did not give the 'thick' and sticking snow foam I was looking for. I tried it in 1:10 and 1:5 consistencies.

---------------

I ordered and received these universal Inlet Quick Connectors from Amazon (229/- for 2) so that multiple inlet pipes can be made ready at different locations in my house and I do not need to unscrew the single connector that comes with the machine -

Also received these extra O-rings from Shakti as promised by them -

Re: Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review

Checked the orifice once again, just to confirm that the supplier was telling the truth. And found it to be 1.1mm in diameter. So the problem is definitely with the shampoo quality -

Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review-20230523_131756.jpg

Also got some extra high quality hydraulic hose for the outlet, which doesn't bend and curl that easily like the original supplied with the machine. It is 7m in length and costed me around 900 bucks from a local hardware shop -

Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review-20230523_132627.jpg

Also got this brass connector for this hose for 200 bucks, which can join both the outlet hoses together and now the total length of the outlet hose is extended to 8+7= 15m, which I needed for my diverse needs -

I too was doing a research on getting snow thick foam. What I found was that most of the foam cannons available here are not good. I tried a couple of them and was not quite happy with it (something that is quite similar to the one in the picture that you have uploaded. Hence getting one from Uncle Sam's Land.

You can try the one from the video given below:

Part 1:

Part 2:

Of course I am not denying your view on the shampoo. Suggest you look out for a shampoo that is biodegradable, pH neutral and something that states snow foam shampoo in its description.

BTW what brand is your current foam cannon?

Hi drjp1985,

Nice to know a fellow bhpian from Erode that too a fellow doctor .

Bought the pressure washer from eurofine. It’s located near palayapalayam junction. Take the street adjoining waffle hut from palayapalayam junction, the shop is some 100- 200 meters from the junction on the right side.

There’s an another shop swot enterprises opposite to this place which too sells pressure washer under the name eurojet.

Went with eurofine as I found them more approachable.

Couldn’t pm you as you don’t have that option yet. If you have any other queries mail me. Happy to help.

I couldn’t contact you over mail since you’ve disabled people from mailing you through tbhp. It’s not the eureka Forbes showroom. You can Google eurofine pressure washer for location. They’ve location updated in Google.

Re: Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review

Inspired by this review and after my own research, I bought this pressure washer from Amazon at ₹4199 during the recent freedom sale. I always used bucket wash for reasonable results and am new to pressure washing. My results on first-time use are just okayish. Photos after the wash -

Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review-whatsapp-image-20230814-08.09.01.jpeg

Shakti S3 Car Pressure Washer Review-whatsapp-image-20230814-08.09.01-1.jpeg

I tried using the provided foamer bottle with 3M shampoo I had and the foaming wasn't uniform. That is expected I suppose. Subsequent pressure spray did not result in dirt removal (monsoon mud spray) even on painted surfaces. Interestingly the same could be wiped by palm. Then I decided to give a light shampoo wipe using a microfiber cloth and do the pressure washing. This gave better results on painted surfaces but not on black cladding which is all over Punch! I had not wiped the roof and the results are above.

I did not want to cause permanent scratches by wiping harder with a shampoo-drenched microfiber cloth. I don't know if I must be increasing the pressure or holding the gun closer to the surfaces for better results. Any suggestions are most welcome!
