I beg to differ. Have been ordering stuff off Alibaba from quite sometime now. For four of my cars and a few friend's cars I have ordered the same projector sold here for hardly 6k a pair including customs. They are open to both B2B and B2C orders especially for something like a pair of projectors. Has been hassle free and worth the money. In fact, except the fact that you cant order directly on Aliexpress, the entire supply chain is active and works better than before including customs clearance. Apart from these projectors, have ordered a lot of other stuff and have never faced any issues.

Re: Which Projector Foglamps to choose? So many options in the market

I own a Skoda Slavia Ambition variant and prefer not to replace the headlamp housing unit. Therefore, I want to install projector fog lamps instead.

Could you recommend a projector fog lamp that is easy to install (plug-and-play)?

Product compatible with Slavia ?
Wattage ?
Price ?

C?
There wouldnt be plug and play options for Slavia unless you want to live with an error on the dashboard about fused fog lights every time you start the car. And the fog lights of the Slavia are directly powered by the BCM without any relay in the middle. Hence, there will be need of a relay in the middle to keep the BCM safe. That needs to be programmed in VCDS to not show up errors.

If your car has cornering lamp function that also needs to be disabled else it will cause flickering of the fog lamps when the cornering lights turn on and off. Hence, its not so straight forward to switch to LED fog lamps on the Slavia.

Thank you for the details.

Can I install Osram 50W plug and play LED headlights without the relay, dashboard error and all the hassle you mentioned for fog lamps ?

Thank you, useful information. I too have a (2024 April) Slavia Ambition and was thinking of replacing the stock fogs with 3" projector lamps.

Alternative question then. If I leave the fogs alone and install Aozoom TH02 auxiliary lights within the grille, this should not cause any problems right? Company wiring doesn't get cut. Additional lights get wired to the fuse box and maybe a separate cabin switch?

And no, the Ambition doesn't come with cornering lights.

Re: Which Projector Foglamps to choose? So many options in the market

Hello Everyone, I'm based in Gurgaon and looking to upgrade my stock Toyota Yaris 3" fog lamps.

Visited Sam Garage in Dwarka yesterday to check TRICOLOUR variants available. They showed me American Muscle G2 (₹5700) which (I felt) was at par with lights of much popular but costlier AES FX3 (₹9500).

Considering my car is 6+ yrs old now, and I might keep or sell it, I am pulled towards saving costs. The G2 also doesn't get any warranty while the FX3 has 1 yr cover.

Would really like to have fellow BHPians opinion and recommendations, if any other better options I should consider.

Many thanks.
