Baojun Badge looks more cooler and perhaps Authentic than the paid for MG badge. Please do get the complete Lettering of all the badges/ logos. Go go go...

Re: Should I ‘ironic-badge’ my MG Hector?

Amazing idea, really got a chuckle out of it. Love it! Typically the badges I see on the road are the BMW M colors and logo stuck to a Maruti, Tempo traveller with the 3 pointed star etc. And don't get me started on what all they put on Chennai autos. But all of them give a poser vibe.

Yours though is both hilarious and head scratching. If you remove the MG logos I am sure a few people will get confused. If I see either of those badges, I might stop and ask, won't think someone would pimp there ride like that. And you should totally reply with a straight face that 'it's because of the chip shortage, they had to give me this one instead of the Hector.

Few years back I saw a Chevrolet Forester being rebadged as Subaru Forester. Even the steering wheel was rebadged. It actually looked pretty cool!

Wow, that genuinely sounds like a great idea. I’m a huge fan of these rebadge jobs that effectively ‘reverse-rebadge’ the car

Could do a BMW badge for the rear of the city. Front can remain Honda.
