Hey guys,

I wanted to go fast and was looking for a high displacement forced induction application, the best car I found for this use was a 2012 Audi A6, this one comes with the 3.0T paired with DL501 gearbox (commonly found in S4/S5).

Picked up a used example and did a quick APR Stage 1 ECU/TCU along with full service, brakes, paint correction, lights and bumper facelift.

Dragy Times:

APR Stage 1 93 file ECU/TCU with stock hardware
0-100 = 4.4 seconds
1/4 mile = 12.54 seconds




This was stage 1 though, I bought a bunch of mods which I have started installing.

I did a dyno run and another dragy


(full weight + 1 passenger)

I have removed the stock hx and the smaller secondary hx and modified the plumbing a little to make it work.

I will log some pulls tonight, I am running 245/45/18 SP Sport Maxx 050+ and have a lot of wheel spin at launch even with just 3000 rpm launch.

My 100-200 is really slow somewhere around 9.5

Any suggestions guys?

I did some dyno runs as well with the 59mm pulley, I will be doing another dyno session with the new 56mm pulley installed soon.







I did some logs and the lpfp can't really keep up, I am losing fuel rail pressure after 6200rpm. The IAT's delta is 15-20 degrees when I did 3 back to back 3rd gear pulls.

There is a lot of optimising required on the current setup, I am sure I can do low 11's on this 93 aki file.

Dyno figures: 530 HP and 630 Nm.

Is the 3.0 T a Quattro? Cause the 2.0’s were FWD and am curious how you are going to put so much power down, if not a Quattro?

Yes, this is a 3.0T quattro.

Sweet build! On the Dunlops, having ran that exact set on a Subaru WRX on AutoX, they are really the worst OEM tires ever. I understand that you're doing a drag build, but still, I'd suggest getting better rubber and you'll notice a lot of difference. Sports 4S would be my pick, but that on an AWD will become a costly affair, especially for a drag set-up.

This is a baseline street setup, I am picking up a set of PS4 same size for the drag events.

My goodness, your car is F-A-S-T! Congratulations on such a killer build. Also looks very mean. All the A6 generations look so similar that the layman won't even know if it's a 10-year old A6 or a 2-year old one. Even I'd have never guessed that it's a 2012.

Wow! This might become the most extensively modified 3.0T in the country. I have a S4 and find it already fast enough but breaking traction in straight line even with Quattro sounds really scary

Would you mind sharing the cost of such a build with me? I just might be tempted to go down this route.

Excellent mods there, 3.xx secs to 100 should be super fun.
Are stock brakes/suspension holding up or do you feel the need to updrage?
How many kms can we expect for full tank of fuel when we are driving in sprited mode?
Videos of 0-100? launch ?

Yes, I have matrix front+rear facelift and rs6 bumper and cf diffuser at the back. It doesnt look like a 10 year old car lol.

you are right, I have gone all out on this, plenty more things coming for the boost season xD

hit me up, will share the costs with you and I would suggest get a Stage 1 ASAP. Don't waste those miles

250-300km on a full tank of 100 octane

Can't post videos here because the mods will ban me in an instant :P
