Self-healing nano coating : Does it really work?

Hi all,

A few days ago, I was shown an AD on Instagram for a 'self-healing' nano-coating for cars. Of course, it caught my eye, and I DM'ed the handle to get more details. They have a package starting from INR 25k, which is not too much for what the solution promises.

It seems like it is a solution from Revivify (a Canadian company), which is being locally being provided by an Indian distributor. The videos on their Instagram handle almost seemed magical. Small to medium scratches with hard brushes and keys are almost instantly removed by either pouring hot water, or by blowing hot air on the surface.

I watched a few videos of theirs, and the skeptic in me felt that this was almost too good to be true. I searched TeamBHP for 'Revivify', and surprisingly could not find anything. Hence creating this thread to find out if anyone has tried it (or any such similar solutions).

Note to MODs: Please move to a relevant thread if it already exists. I didn't put it on the 'Ceramic Coating' thread, because it was slightly different.

re: Self-healing nano coating : Does it really work?

When I got it done on my Harrier I was told that for self healing in case of minor scratches, I need to park the car in bright sunlight for 5-6 hours and it should be good as new. Never needed to test it till now thankfully.
