@Jose: Yes these are skin fit or bucked fit at these are famously known, these are fitted to seat with the help of threads and clips to achieve complete snug fit.

As far as the pricing goes Autoform U-cheer is usually retailed at 7k+, but I got these for 4600/- INR.

I visited a car accessory shop here in Bangalore and the dealer told me that the difference between the top quality art leather that he had and the G-sport branded art leathers is just the brand name, He told me that i can save around 2k without the G-sport logo, Is it true?

How does a regular car accessory shop guy install G-Sport seat covers?
Is he trained to stitch Gsport art leather to a seat? Is that it?

Hi f1fan,

The Autoform is installed over the original seat cover. The snug fit is a result of some stitching work over the original ones, took a bit over 3 hours for the whole process.
I paid 5,350/- for the seat cover including taxes and an additional 400/- towards fitting charges.

Can any one of you please suggest me good seat-cover shop in NCR Region who can do a impressive fitting job for OE type fitting seat cover


1. does we have G-sport dealer in NCR ?
2. I have been wandring little bit and found out that there are some 1.2mm width seat cover and some 2mm width one. which one is better and why ?
3. Is Reliance AutoZone, Ambience mall a good place for this?
4. I have got a quote of 8K for Art-leather seat cover for seats + door trim, from Driven. Is it a good quote ?

Got Gsports seat covers installed at my uncles place(in house installation was done as a favour as I know the Gsport guys.)

IIRC, art leather by Ovion for the i10 will cost Rs 10k. But I'm not too convinced about the heat repelling capacity of art leather even if it is by Ovion. How much might an art leather + Genuine leather in areas of contact by Ovion/Karlson/Marvin cost for my i10?? Are there any small players in original (Indian) leather in Bangalore who can get such a job done for < 15000 bucks? I DO NOT need a steering cover, gear boot etc.

Get the drivers and the co-drivers seat done in full leather and the rear seats in art leather. Should still set you back by at-least 16k minimum.

Unlikely, you cant get quality leather seats for cheap. G-sport is a good try for starters , you can check their lustre range, looks good IMO. Leathers seats will cost you upwards of 18k or so easily for a hatch back.
