My seats are stock at the moment, i am not that fond of seat covers, but thought of sourcing suede leather and getting it done with a combination of nappa leather, but couldn`t find it anywhere.
Right now thinking of getting any replicate racing seats.

The side indicators came with the car.

The backlite speedo displays are available for lancers and honda citys.

Gave the car for 1,65,000kms service and for an overcoat paint job at Honda Dealership.
Decided to get a color change to red. Choice shortlisted to Rosso Scuderia(Ferrari), Flash Red(VW), Exotica Red(Fiat Punto)

Suggestions Welcomed.

@shanz: Your car looks stunning in black. One of the best looking cars in
T-BHP. I would recommend you to stick with that ( Ofcourse
its your personal decision at the end of the day )

I own a heather mist shaded OHC and always tend to dream about owning a black OHC (Do not wish to shell on getting it re-painted though)

Rosso Scuderia(Ferrari) Red is a good shade. We do have couple of Bhpians with their OHC's painted Red (Do not recollect their identity now)

Cheers,
Ayyappan

Thanks for the compliment.

There is a personal reason for that decision. All our cars are black, now a days i find it very difficult to maintain it neatly. During my studies i used to wash it almost all days, now am not, i got busy here. Its a daily driven one.

Hope red is easy to maintain when compared to black.
Could you guide me through some pictures of scuderia red citys?
Am almost zeroed to flash Red(VW Polo).

Regards

Any car is hard to maintain if it's black. We have a 5 year old black Civic and it's a daily-drive too, so small scratches are inevitable. Also, if it isn't cleaned and maintained properly (I've been told that one should never wash a black-car on a daily basis) you will find swirl marks on the paint and minute scratches.

But I'm sure you know all of this already!

My Civic still looks great though, after 5 years and 50k on the clock.

Oh, and by the way, you've got a smashing City. The wheels look brilliant and the interior, with the CF vinyl and that tasty steering, it looks phenomenal! And I don't think you should change the colour. Just get a re-spray if you really want to get a new coat, or just get it detailed

Here is a thread on the same: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...ing-guide.html

Drive safe! *thumbs up*

EDIT: I personally find a red Polo very attractive, but I'm not sure of red would be the best colour for your car, especially with the bronze/gold wheels. Just my opinion. If you're very keen on a colour change, then I'd suggest 'Deep Sapphire Blue' that you used to get on the Jazz. Or any colour on the same lines. I think it would compliment the gold/bronze wheels perfectly.

Red Polo is a good choice. I could not nail down to the BHpian with the red OHC.
As suhaas307 mentioned, the alloys might not go with the shade very well.

However, i have a few links with pics of OHC's with red shades, This will give you a hint.

A silver one: (Looks cool)

Another red OHC:

Hope its helpful.

Thanks! I always loved to own a red car, as i am retaining this car with me i thought i`d paint this red. I have already decided it to red, only i have to make a choice "which red?". Blue is good shade, all cars look good in blue, especially one with darker tint. My first car was an esteem on which i had painted Honda`s Adriatic blue, which is an awesome shade, so this time i don't have blue in mind anyway. And about the rims, its actually gold, i believe it will go well with Red, have seen some cars espacially civic with the same combo.

And thanks for the detailing link. Surely ill go through with it once i get a new coat on my ride.

Thanks for the hints. What am looking for is the OHC in the last link, the one with brilliant red. Hope the body work will be as good as new as I gave the car at the one of the best body shop around me.

What am really looking for is this color, am only talking bout the body color no the rims.
Green Rims!!!!

Hell No!

I think someone had already posted the second pic.

Thanks for the effort, though i`ve seen both links before.
The red in the first links ie Tejas`s car look nice, but its have got an orange tint, what am really looking for is different.

After searching on the net in other honda forums i found out the color code for the Mugen RR Red. Its Milano red, when i checked it with the paint store here its different, it has a darker shade. So, most probably i`ll be going for the Flash Red (VW Polo)

HOT HOT HOT!

Loving the new paint-job. Looks like red was the colour after all, and I'm glad you didn't go in for any other. The finish looks immaculate! Is this the same red available on the Jazz?

More pictures would be appreciated!

EDIT: Just noticed that you changed the wheels as well! These look like 17"? Why? I liked the previous ones a lot! But these look smashing too!

Hott-Ness

The car looks great. The paintjob has come out really well.Paint quality looks awesome and this shade of red is just too good.Did you get the car stripped and painted?

Which alloys are they?

How did you blacken the headlights and give the amber effect?
