Well sorry guys for using the sms 'lingo'. New here so it happened. Won't happen again. Coming back to cars, before buying OHC VTEV, my final choice was left to two cars- Lancer or OHC VTEC. Thank god i made the right choice. Not to say lancer is bad (it is my second best car ofcourse). Just that i discovered an old honda city has a lot of potential for modifications. A good news for computer gamers is that they can try a lot of things in their favourite game NFS: Underground 2 or others by trying to modify Honda Civic there. It looks just like Indian OHC VTEC. here is an example of what i am trying to make my car-

and side and front view

Seems like a very wacky idea but it actually works. Make your own virtual design before actually making it. This is one of the designs i have in mind. Simple but good. Comments please friends.

This is a Basic Body Kit. There are ALOT of bodykits like these on the market. And Arush (autopsyche) can do it for you in a jiffy!

Raj - Get new number plates, good tyres, exhaust & if it's your thing, a cold air intake.

As for visual mods, they're not really my thing & IMO it's best if you leave the classic looks of the OHC alone. Maybe a nice paint job at the most. But again this is purely my opinion.

Oh! This is "Dhanno" when she was done up fresh at Pandit's couple of years back i believe, with the single muffler, now she has a duel V-TEC lookalike, only much bigger and beautiful in looks as well as sound.

Raj, the kind of mods you are plannning to do, you'll instantly fall in the ricer/poser category. To understand what I mean go through this link:

I suggest that you get rid of unnecessary stickering and instead invest in a decent and subtle body kit, paint job and performance parts. You'll realise most of the best OHCs in T-BHP have no overdone stickering or over-the-top body kits.

Just my suggestion. Please don't be offended

yes you are absolutely right about it. But what i am planning to do is that i will make performance mods oso and show it off also. i wont give excess stickering. will remove kenwood on the sides. just alpine and streetglow decals on the windscreen. i have decided now that if i dont sell the car, i will spend on performance mods. but then i wont keep the car a sleeper also. performance as well as cosmetic mods. stickering will be minimum. regarding paint job, i wish to put the red found in Lancer SFXi sports model. can someone please tel me what red is that. it is very bright red orangish type.

p.s- i will do performance mods also, so these wont be either ricer or sleeper red colour here is not what i want. like the red in Lancer SFXi.
wonder if the green colour will be available?
