@ greenhorn: Ah, thanks for the link. I thought I'd seen the car before.

I wonder how the owner's managing to use in Kerala, considering the fact that our state frowns upon major modifications and more often than not, refuse to certify such cars for road use.

I guess helmet and seat belt offenders seem more of a threat to them! Add LED lights and sunfilms to that list. Sorry for going off-topic!

The same day, i visited one of the very well known car accessories shop in Coimbatore. i found that the Light unit mounted on the bonnet of this car sells like hot cakes in Coimbatore. The shop had loads of this unit & said this sells really well. The cost of this unit is Rs.4200

The quality is shoddy & i would rate it as

Looks like few people do have special taste in Coimbatore.

This isn't really a wacky mod, but certainly a weird way to take one's cycle rickshaw home - by towing it with an Indica! Can certainly be used as a trailer too...

That isn't a Zen grill, but a M800 grill itself. The 90s model had this kind of a grill.

Went recently at the sea side town of Digha, in the district of East Midnapore (West Bengal). This car was kept right inside the boundary of the hotel, while all others (including me) were asked to park their cars just outside of the main entrance. Possibly this car belonged to either the owner or to some other VIP.

Spotted this car parked below an apartment in Arlem while I had gone to get my AC serviced. Don't know if this car would appeal to anyone for its mods, but I really didn't like anything apart from the alloys!!


This was once a Daewoo Cielo.


If you notice, at the rear, on the boot door as well as the rear windshield, there is a sticker of Subrai motors. This is a Chevy dealership in Goa. Dunno what the obsession is.

Spotted this Weirdly painted Matt black Skoda Laura on Palm beach road and a yellow Innova. I know these are just paint jobs and not mod jobs but i definitely found it weird.
