I completely agree with you. In some cases the mouldings are done with so many imperfections that highlight when it is painted and looks ugly if not sick.
Kit-up has some horrible designs and color schemes. A purple car is okay, but purple with white spoils the classy look and gives a bufoon look.

"kyonki hum red & white walon ki baat hi kuchh aur hoti hai"
(us red red&white users are a class apart)

Each and every one of these faux audi grills, they always remind me of those cow-catchers, on trains.

surprisingly, even while this is not a cheap, stick on mod, a lot of people are have similarly bad taste backed by money to burn.

Holy cow!

Looks like owner was trying to imitate a Rolls royce and failed miserably at it.

What a coincidence.
Spotted another 'IDEAL MOTOR' today.
This time in red.
Hoping for a blue/pink/silver/green soon.

If you remember the A-star concept, the grills look something like those. These look incredibly hideous on the swift/desire

Grille could have been better and rest all is fine according to me. IMO SX4 as it is a sexy looking car. I simply love the statement attached to the car "Men are back".

Is this thing for real? What a cruel thing to do! Did the owner take a blowtorch and burn the lines on the car?!

Why old school Safari owners only? Even I would beat the living daylights out of this person, if I see him in person

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Spotted this at the service station yesterday when my car was undergoing a wash.

A clutch pedal in a three wheeled tempo!

Innovation!! But this is a worth mod job. I've tried to operate the clutch from a rear engine rickshaw, its damn tight (thanks to the cable length from the handle to the rear engine and poor maintenance) In such cases this pedal helps a lot.

This is not a mod job, it is factory fitted clutch. This is a CJ1000 Bajaj Auto rickshawas/trolley auto running on diesel power. Prev generation Diesel auto used to have hand operated clutch and this was a later development however the shifting of gears is barbaric and hard.

I actually kinda like the job, seems like a high quality paint job with nice set of wheels. The grill without the 'v' extension would be make this 'WOW' car. Tried PS'in this thing.
