Who cares??

The pvt. buses have a very shrewd sense of what to sticker up their vehicles with.

Look at the sticker below the driver. Pic is pretty old - 8 or 9 months - and is taken from my mobile.

I am sure they meant that the electrical system uses direct current.

Dead Right. Who cares about safety anyway.

Just look at the lorries which are built to kill- headlights and front fender too high and solid, rear is open for a car to drive under and rarely with any tail lights. The Goods auto-rickshaw is another piece of cavalry with raw metal jutting out from all sides and the drivers knowingly use it for intimidation on the roads.

Maybe they should have inflatable rubber (or even polystyrene foam) bags all around like those on hovercrafts to protect the general public!

That bus used to ply through my home town Mayannur, now they have replaced it with a new one. By DC coach they must have meant Dilip Chabria

Actually DC Design had released a bus design with a similar front. That was at least 8 years ago. And this design was mimicked by many body garages. Our own KSRTC (Kerala) had a good number of "Hi-Tech" buses (Fast Passenger and above) with that kind of frontage

Another horrendous looking creation from DC. Have a look at the wipers. It's Tata Nano for sure.
He knows how to scare people away by his creations or the lack of it. DC is a designer whose designs put star trek star ships
to shame.

I notice the number plate still reflecting Dubai number. Is this allowed in India?
I agree with SMK ! this vehicle is "Imboorted" because i see many of this kind(wanky mod jobs and perfect wordings similar to this one in SAUDI ARABIA)! To my little knowledge without re-registration no car will be allowed on road legally ! This may be a show case TOY

That's a common sight everywhere now.
Running on CNG so he has to put the spare tire somewhere and hence the innovation.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The DC creation is based on the Suzuki Swift. This thing featured in the newpapers "some Chennai businessman wanted to gift a unique car to ferry his daughter to and fro from school"

Voila- comes in DC with this creation pegged at supposedly 18 Lac rupees.

The Plymouth is on carnet & has probably gone back to where it belong by now. Hope the UAE customs agrees to the rechristening.
