Cheers,

This reminds me of the infamous delhi belly dialogue
Though I've not seen the movie yet, this dialogue is etched in my head, thanks to TBHP.

I have seen a white Swift with that exact Audi grill in Chennai, IIRC it was around Mahalingapuram - the front looked a bit odd with that Audi grill though.

No way!!! You can't ruin a Swift or a Palio like this, both are handsome cars...

O.T: Are the big Merc/Audi logos pinched off from some cars?

The Swift is ok, just remove the Audi logo.

Just came across this picture while surfing the net. Look what they have done to a TOYOTA LC! (must be somewhere abroad, the place doesn't look to be in India)

I think this car had dc logo somewhere. Could only manage this pic as the traffic had started moving. Has anyone else seen this car more closely?

Thats a fairly common mod for a snow rescue vehicle.
Note the beacon

DC HAS developed kind of a signature now, hasnt he?
"DC"-that wa the first thing that popped up in my mind, before i even read your text.
Basically, if you see very good qaulity finishede mod, and which makes the car look 10000 times more stupid, you sort of know who is behind it, nowadays.

And it has the T-badge on the 'modification'. I think it is some kind of aftermarket accessory for the vehicle or that it was built like this in the first place.

Its not wacky. Its called Mattracks. Its an expensive piece of hardware add on to a 4x4 for snow or sand.

I think it goes well with the car! Well, Yes the maintenance, body work in the rear and the overall finish could've been better. I think its neither weird nor wacky.

That's not wacky.
That Land Cruiser is a specially modded snow rescue vehicle, they need the tracks for it to be able to move on the snow, just like battle tanks.

It may seem weird/wacky to you, but attaching tracks is a perfectly acceptable especially in places where there is snow on the roads more often than not.

But I have to say there is something surprising about that LC. The surprising thing is that the tracks may be a OEM option!!! If you look closely the hubs of the tracks have Toyota markings. Or may be the guy bought those Toyota badges after market and stuck them on.
