re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

How do parents (responsible people) allow this . Imagine the boss or office co-workers seeing this and getting the look and wierd glimpses..

I would agree with you if the parents regularly drive the swift too. But maybe the car belongs to him(the teen), so the parents might not care about what he does to the car.

I'm only saying this because i have done some small mods on my Waggie as well (no offensive stickers though ). My dad only allows this because he very rarely uses my car. Even then, there is a limit on what to do and what not to do.
On the other hand, his own car is completely stock!!

A side view would have afforded a better feel of this monstrous attachment on top of this Swift but traffic conditions did not permit it.

The shape of the spoiler is ok, but it was raised too high.
These spoilers are very common for the swift/punto/vista crowd.

Also note the mustang logo on the front grill. Sorry for not clicking the rear pic.
That is an ex bombay car. One of the first by N1 racing. This was made when the things you see on the car were cool. Around 6 years ago atleast.

The dictionary meaning of "wacky" is "odd, irrational or irregular". And so is this!

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Today saw this Chevy on western express highway , it had a silver band having impression of a wide tyre marks ,from front to end of the car , as if this car was parke somewhere and a truck went over it and left behind silver marks, it had some graphixs also and not the least a very noisy FFE. That FFE was only noisy and no power boost was seen, as all the while he was lagging behind every one.
There were some weired silver painted add ons to bumpers.

The picture IS deformed. The alloys are perfectly normal.

The Chey SRV by defalut looks good, but with the above mods don't go well with an otherwise good looking car, especially the choice of colours.

BTW one more thing about the SRV, this is the only supercharged SRV, this one was supercharged with the chevy factory support, this one was featured in one of the leading auto mags in india, its definitly from a ERA when bling was in.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

whoa supercharged SRV?? well i hope that its a "real" supercharger and not again one of those electric hair dryers people claim to be as superchargers..

If i recall correctly the SRV job was done by a certain Mr. Rajiv Randive and had displayed one of those electric hair dryers mated to a swift. I went to them not as a skeptic but to at least understand their explanation of the electric supercharger, but alas! i returned disappointed.

Pramod
That isnt this particular car. That one was black. The one with the Rotrex Supercharger.

The one above was some so called Sports package. Whatever that meant..
