re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Yes that ss80 pickup is a decently executed job. That front grill is ugly but we have ugly grills on some of the OE vehicles eg. Scorpio, Xylo

Truckers tie (human) shoes to their bumper.

Well, the owner has gone a step forward, he has put in a horse-shoe.

The nano actually will look good minus the weird paint scheme and the tyre at the back.
The alloys and the spoiler looks good and is proportionate for Nano. Better than some of the cloth hangers we have seen on many other cars.

The heavy duty rick?

Spotted this rick on the way to Palakkad town. Look at the luggage rack and more importantly the ladders on either side

The luggage rack and ladders probably double up as Roll Cage when the driver enters it in the autorick gran-turismo on the weekends, following the footsteps of early Ferrari days i.e. racing on the weekend and selling on monday tradition.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Found these four wheelers on the Lucknow roads during my trip a few days ago:

The Contessa is exactly in the same place as it was a year and half ago

These are four wheelers that have a mini dance floor with audio equipment fitted for someone to croon loudly the latest Bollywood hits in a marriage procession.
The wheels are from Ambassadors and Fiats / Premiers too. It has a steering wheel.

A nice job. Maruti can think of launching this as an auto pickup basher.
