IMO, The 800 looks well executed. I did a simple job of rotating the pic. Hope you don't mind.

I saw the same thing did for a yellow zen at thrissur and it was a beauty , thats what I saw , but this maruthi is crap !

The fake hoodscoops had started giving away. And I think the passengers need more air supply, so there's a scoop on the top as well. The grill i guess is from a Conty.

The rear had the older WagonR type tail lamp assembly, and a door handle...oops, spoiler on top as well :D

EDIT:

It is wacky for sure, but it's neatly done. The tail lamp is integrated seamlessly. No irregular bulges or gaps. Only problem is, there's no reversing light.

Can't agree with you more.

Its a Tata Globus. Can you believe it? How can someone in their right senses modify a bus so bad. Shame on Kerala State Road Transport Corporation for destroying a beautiful bus

Jimmyjosek, I agree it's wacky. But it's not the ultimate. I've seen worse. And considering the shoddy patch-up KSRTC does with the bodywork, this is acceptable IMO. At least not many bolts and tin-sheet patches.

Its a new C class Sierra. The owner should be good junk yard hunter. The extended mirrors adds more macho look. Can't say its wacky though..

The C-class Sierra looked more like an oversized toy car to me lol:

Hood scoops looks like a nose of a pig. Big white pig!

That sierra has spent a LOT of time in a body shop...a LOT!
And the journalist who owns it has spent muchos dinaros on all that work.
One innova guy had asked for roofrails at my mechanic.Know how much he was quoted(not like these.he wanted the basest version)?
9k!!
:eek:
just the "taste" is missing.

Except for the wheels.
those are looking really good.
I wish he'd kept the car stock with those wheels.

Muchos dinaros for this :Shockked:. Proof of money buying you the goods but not the taste. And I agree on the car being kept stock with those alloys. Maybe Tata Motors should ban this journo from coming near their cars lol: or wait, maybe it should be Mercedes-Benz that should do this instead.

Today in the evening I saw this Maruti 800 oops Maruti 1000, Maruti Esteem ,I think you decide what it can be called. Maruti Udyog must contact this guy so that they can come up with Maruti 800 SEDAN.

This vehicle was spotted at Mira Road with the owner getting this cheap Chinese LED fitted to its cloth hanger...(Fairing).
List of mods were proudly displayed by its owner to me.

Starts with money spent for the transformation from humble 800 to Esteem Rs.35000/-, incl of that weird painting in two tone.

Body painted in Shocking Green with Bumpers and running boards in Electric Blue.eeek.

Boot lid of Esteem is very heavy and he is yet to decide on what technology to be used to keep it in Stay Open position, in the meanwhile he will use a alluminium rod as a stopper.

He is against using any logos for this car and got reflective Blue radium tape to create a monogram of MARUTI duly cut on a plotter.

He said he will keep the rear tail lights and brake lights cluster of Esteem as original faded look.

Front side has 800 grille painted in same colour,new head lights,and cheap FOG Lamps,used by Autorickshaws.

He has fitted a crash guard also.

MARUTI UDYOG must contact him immediately so that in coming year we may have 800 SEDAN on Indian roads.

@crazybiker
By the side of the gypsy a 1967 Amby is seen, looks good though converted to Mark4.
@Iqbal veerji
The spoiler would protect the boot lid from hitting the body.
Jokes apart, I had seen a Maruti 800 made to Esteem many years back in Cochin and the white car was a treat to the eyes unlike this green beauty

Just by the side profile you came to know all this? :Shockked:, maybe you know this car by the number.
