Note the fake exhaust on the right side. I don't know the reason why the actual tailpipe is routed to the left side.

It's actually a Tata LPO1616. The driver said visibility is not so great with such a weird body

KSRTC has a tradition of rebuilding their buses with whacky fronts. But this one is the ultimate.

Its a Tata Globus. Can you believe it? How can someone in their right senses modify a bus so bad. Shame on Kerala State Road Transport Corporation for destroying a beautiful bus

Going by the way, the KSRTCs are driven around in Kerala and looking at the picture, I feel the front portion was rebuilt after probably a head-on.
The front is sort of patched up, if you compare to the rest of the body.

I actually like the Jeep except the paint job.

I love that jeep. Clear and nice paint job, though it could have been better (like original army camouflage).

I love that Jeep too. IMO a snowy background will actually make this color combo a real looker. I have seen more *weird* color combos in west but they look great because of the snowy white backgrounds.
I stand to be corrected.

Dear Mayan KK and Dhanush;

The original globus design by Tata is actually nice. See the pic of a Kozhikode-Bangalore Globus of KeSRTC. The design looks stylish and modern. Such Globuses can be seen all over India.

But look at the globus of Kottayam depot I posted earlier. I feel the modification is whacky and moreover ugly. Maybe you guys liked it.

Hope you will appreciate I did not post post the picture just for the sake of increasing the number of posts. Just compare the original Globus with the rebuilt one and judge whteher the rebuild is wacky....

i back your opinion Jimmy. that one sure looks damn wacky when compared to the original globus in the fact that globus is a company made product and modification of its front even after a collision can prove wacky.

I do agree with Jimmy.

For me, the stock KSRTC - Tata Globus looks very beautiful when contrasted to the modified one. In fact, I really love the design of the KSRTC - Tata Globus for the simplicity in its design.

IMO, The 800 looks well executed. I did a simple job of rotating the pic. Hope you don't mind.

Thats a clean job done. I hope R.C. Bhargava sees it and decides to get back our good old 800 from the attic with some such refresh job and a new engine.
