It is indeed a DC creation that was once an ordinary Esteem. There is a similar car in Bangalore, next to the Leela. I quite like the mod! It really sets it apart from the others, in a good way IMO!

I'm afraid BBC Top Gear has beaten you to it. For sometime now, they have been publishing one picture of one really wacky and weird car in their monthly issues. And they call it PETA albeit with a few different words in the abbreviation. (Prevention of Ethical Treatment to Automobiles)

Spotted this Indigo at Pondicherry last weekend.
The owner was too protective of his car that he decided to install a Bullbar at the rear!!!

Is this a Safari's bullbar??

Killing a car's beauty its esthetics and that to a iconic car should be considered as crime, I feel law should be brought in to avoid killing of vintage, classic and other iconic cars by common public, film makers and others. My heart wept for this SS80 and felt sorry for the owner to move around like a clown rather he thinking to be a head turner.
