The PP here.It is breathtaking, seriously.Somehow, the amby and PP can get away with mods that would destroy(would??they do!!evidence is this thread itself).
Very tasteful, the owner seems to know what he wants.I'm quite sure the mods are not limited to being just cosmetic.
is it for sale????

except fro the badges,ie.

Its called a space saver. its smaller than a normal spare tyre to reduce the weight in the boot/trunk and also due to lack of space in boot/trunk, a smaller tyre is given as spare.

its common in MB, BMW, Porsche etc.

when swift was launched in india, a similar space saver spare tyre was provided and it created a big controversy and maruti provided free replacement by a normal size tyre.

Er..I would like to know what effect it has on a FWD in a straight line?

If I remember correctly, the 1st Generation Audi TT was FWD and yet, it required a spoiler to keep things in check. In fact, the original TT had serious down-force issues when driven over 180 km/h and Audi had to recall the TT in the 1st quarter of 2000 and alter the suspension and install a spoiler.

Yeah, you do remember correctly about AUDI TT. And that car I guess is the best example of application of rear spoiler on a FWD. AFAIK rear spoiler on a TT helped in reducing Trailing Throttle Over-steer. Similar issues were reported on some international version of Accord. People found the tail of their cars all over the place during cornering after they had removed the rear spoiler on their cars. Other than these two cars I have hardly come across any road going FWD car that had issues due to lack of rear spoiler.

PS- Do reply as and when it suits you. Rather you may PM or we'll be going off-topic on this thread. Also, if there is some thread regarding this issue in our Forums, kindly point it out. Thanks.

Regards.

+1.

What was that guy thinking? Not only an insult to the prancing horse but cruelty to a good car.

Perfect way to turn a bland looking car into crap. That looks downright cheap and wannabe.

Regards.

I almost threw up after looking at the ugly mods done on that Baleno.
What a waste of a good car.

It looks like two miniature jet engines on either tips of the spoiler.

SUVish Swift

Today, my car was overtaken by a brand new Maruti Swift that had a spoiler and side skirting. I clicked it's pic at the next rotary.
Note that the side skirting has been done poorly and the way rear bumper has been given a SUVish muscular look by pasting that part over the existing bumper in a poor manner.

Doesn't seem like brand new, given the soot stain on the bumper. BTW, i feel that the Swift is neither weird or wacky.

Here's an insult to the ANHC. That cloth hanger has got colorful LED's even, mind it.
