I am sure you have to turn the steering left to go right... It must be connected to the rear wheels

Modded Contessa

Spotted this modded Contessa in the IBP petrol bunk on Nrupatunga Road, Bangalore.

Photos taken with permission.

In the 3rd pic, note the rear lights. Are those the lights from Sumo (placed vertically on a Sumo), placed horizontally here?

The bolts on the alloys were rusting!

I dont think this is a weird or wacky mod job, the one on the Contessa. It seems like a pretty decent job, though the tires can be upsized to fill the wheel wells...

I agree. It is actually a nice mod job! Stands out actually.

I have posted it here for not knowing where else to post this

is it just me or does that Contessa has a shorter wheelbase than the stock car? btw, the mods are the best i've seen on a Contessa thus far, except for maybe the rear fender.

Exactly thats the only flaw on the vehicle. Its using the sumo tail lamp rt? Eliminating the back the car is good looking.

The contessa looks pretty neat!!.. and I think the sumo taillights suit the car well!!.. The paint job is done elegantly. Actually one can learn a point or two from this on modding a contessa.

I think it looks quite good. Wonder if the owner has routed the exhaust to those outlets in the center. THAT would be cool!

I Suppose the Rear Hatch is welded Shut and the Coffin is loaded from the front. Would have looked better in Black, though! Still A good Idea as this would mean more people to push rather than have Six Pall bearers. And to have a more in-depth Perspective on this..... THIS COULD BE OUR LAST RIDE!! Only there would be no resurrection [Mar (ke) uti]

i was just watching "Gone in 60 Seconds" a while back on Star Movies and thats when i realised why the owner has put the Sumo tail lights! its the closest thing that look like the tail lights of the 1967 Shelby GT500 "Eleanor" (on a budget)! even the trunk has been made similarly!
