The Vitara is a perfect example of how people can take a perfectly beautiful car and trash it. Have mercy!

1) For the dog ?
2) for the kid ?

Guys, benbsb29 has mentioned the reason why the mod is carried out.
If its true, it ain't wacky.

While i have never seen this in operation, i am assuming the following:
There may be a ramp which can be pulled down when the boot door opens, and the wheelchair can be rolled onto the car or off it.

Like i said, just my assumption on trying to figure out how this would be of use. The reason for the mod was mentioned by some other member on this thread earlier. I have however seen this car on the ORR.

correct. there are 2 antennas sticking out next to the rear taillights, you can see the two stubs. The hooks are probably to hold the large antennas used for jammers.

The contraption at the top is to airlift the vehicle in case of emergency a-la 'jugnoo' style

I guess all those extra fittings are to protect the vehicle in case it topples over.
