That car belonged to a Parsee traffic warden in Secunderabad. He sold it last year. He did have a lovely 123 Mercedes at the time.

the hydraulics shocks fitted on a H2, one of my friend send me it and its in UAE

the modded stuff looks more wacky...

and the question is whats the main purpose accomplished by this kind of thing..?

It is a show car at best, main purpose to drive away with loads of trophy from car meets... there are a few unofficial ones in UAE.

And there are quite a few H2s and H2 SUTs that run on lift kits/hydraulics, custom rims and low profile tyres. Some are very well executed. Another nice looking truck on lifts is the F150 from Ford, have seen a few around... will try to get some pictures.

For most of us here cars are toys and fiddling them a hobby but its not that way always.

There is a similar one in bombay too. havent seen it for a while though. The mumbai one was cast out of alluminium. It looked exactly like the old Countach wheels.

Do you people have seen Volga written on the back of many buses. To con people they have Volvo in the line-up, which is in much demand here in Raj, and Gujarat for Mumbai journey. they tell at their ticket counter its similar to volvo.
