As the driver needs to see the road, note the number 3 horse is missing, being a RHD vehicle.

Wonder which tradition requires the vehicle to be drawn by horses, even dummy blind-spot creating ones.

And don't miss the solitary headlamp between number 1 and number 2 horses. How does the RTO of a civilized country clear and register these contraptions?

And not to miss the injured leg of the right-most horse (left when viewing) !

These modifications would be pieces that are mounted onto the jeep when required. At other times, it is possibly a regular jeep.

Actually @condor, I believe that
  • the modifications are permanently done with adhesive, welding and bolting
  • Street use of the Jeep, when not in procession is almost certainly illegal
  • The Jeep was probably registered before these mods, and that makes the mods illegal too.
  • God forbid, if there is ever an accident, insurance will be denied and the RTO will prosecute.

@Ram, I agree that if there's an accident any compensation would be paid. The jeep would have been registered long before the mod's - most of these jeeps are old ones, which may not be able to take the rigours of daily usage. I havent seen any such vehicles being used for regular commutes. I will not be surprised if these contraptions dont have a PUC cert or a FC.

With these mods, a vehicle becomes un-gainly and cumbersome to drive. These vehicles may see some usage only during the festive & marriage seasons. For the rest of the time, using the vehicle with the mods will be painful. For both these reasons, I feel the mods are not permanent - are at least removable.

Considering the use that these moded vehicles are put to, I doubt the authorities foist any rules & regulations on these. That said, if at any point these vehciles are seen on the roads in such a garb, it could be possibly heading to/from a function. Atleast that's the excuse that would be put forth.

But if the mods are of a permanent, then they are not used at other times.

don't know whether the lancer should be on this thread or not. have seen quite a number of lancers with that kind of spoiler. and if its about the paint, then its personal choice. but the smoked lamps are looking good.

No, other side is not under construction. yeah its common, in gujarat. because they are too lazy to use the divider bypass.

Jeep is for marriages, spoted in palanpur gujarat.!

The U.A.E. seems to be a place where the classiest and most expensive cars are modified to look W&W. It's a shame!
