A modified Tata Estate in Satara. It looks like it even has free wheeling hubs!

The safari headlamps look awkward and the foglamps too are misaligned.

The only way this Jeep is turning is with some kind of permanent hydraulic setup in the middle controlled by a joystick. Press a button on the joystick to lift the Jeep up along with the four tyres, rotate the joy stick to the desired direction, drop the jeep to the ground and off you go. Simple... No?

Yes it is. You might see a tiny number plate stuck somewhere inconspicuously, sometimes

Saw the 1st pic, the rear looked OKish except that number plate. Scrolled down and it was all over. 2 swifts gone to dust.
How can one even think of such designs! Is that it is done just to get that "modified" feel on the car?

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Saw this Mercedes C-220 while heading home from work last week. Not really a mod-job, but I felt it was enough to make it qualify for this thread. I wonder what that antenna is for and why would anyone mount something like that on their car?

The car had a body-kit too, but that wasn't really wacky. Though personally I wouldn't put something like it on my car.

I was confused with so many rods in the picture !!! There is one that comes up from the rear glass, and one from the top. Later I realised that these were on the road. Then realised the one which one is actually on the boot of the car.

Me thinks that it is for bashing anyone who rear ends the car.

I think this is for the "throw the rings around the pole" game . If the guy gets bored from driving for a long time, the passengers and the drivers can chill by playing the game. Or maybe, it is a weapon or maybe on 15th august, he will hoist the flag on this one
(no disrespect intended since i love my country: jai hind /salute)

Looks like a plumber placed a plunger on the car and it drove away.

To me it does not look like a antenna. It looks drain-opener suction rod which is often used to open choked wash-basins and drains. How can anybody do such horrendous things to spoil the elegance of a benz?

Hii mate, i feel sorry for the car and pity the idea by the owner. I too own a Honda City ivtec with a spoiler too but this somthing bizzare. It seems that its a screwed up mess.

Spotted this TN registered i20 near MG Road, Bangalore. I'm seeing two spoke alloy wheels on a car for the first time. And they look UGLY!

A 1st for me too mate..but may be the owner wanted the car to look unique so he did not go for regular 5 spok alloys.
