Has anyone else seen this vehicle in and around Koramangala?

Not a bad effort eh? Wonder how structurally sound it is though, since it started life as a monocoque...

Stretched Sonata that is a Bentley wannabe with Chrysler logos on the front and rear.

saw the same car parked behind the Bosch building with the top up:

doesn't look too good with the top in place.

The B-pillar ought to have been retained (in the form of a targa band) to increase the structural rigidity!

This ain't bad looking! This actually looks like a very good vinly wrap job on the i10. It surely belongs to the tastefully modified cars in India
I am sure if the same wrap had been done on an exotic, it would have first entered the tastefully modifies thread only.

Exotic or not, this wrap is an eyesore. Well, to each his own.

Am not too sure about that. From the photos, I used to think Chrome/mirror wraps were pretty cool. Until I saw one 'in the flesh'.

I agree - case in point - I saw this Skoda Superb with a full wrap

Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!-20130620_182650.jpg

It also had tyres that stuck out a couple of inches - looked like a completely wrong upsize, just for the sake of fat tyres.

Horrible to say the least. Its also a traffic hazard. It will reflect and shine in the sun causing sudden 'flashes' of light in the eyes of other drivers on road.
And not to mention, its ugly too.

I also spotted the same car at Pandara Road a couple of days back.

Spoiling an elegant design in Desperation to seek attention.

Yes the top looks very poor and not in keeping with the concept at all. Its execution is horrible.

I like the idea of the Targa band.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

This is done by my acessories guy it is usually parked in front of his shop named "finishline" in the lane opposit to Star bazar / Bosch.
This is supposed to be a demo of his prawness and not driven around much , I don't think the guy knows much about structural rigidity but he is good in interiors and electrical fittings.

For acessories such as seat covers / Audio / wiper blades / rain wisor his rates are quite competitive and best thing is he does the job as per customers requirement as against the other acessories guy in this area who are quite haughty now a days.

I actually like this contraption. It has potential. The jewel though I agree looks just abnormal. This baby needs a little bit of work, and can look stunning ! Oh I want to modify a contessa
